I am a Bharatanatyam dance teacher and use this app along with professional musicians for the live orchestra that accompanies the dance recital - the sound quality of the app is excellent, and true to the real acoustic instrument. Fantastic app

Good value for money

This is a wonderful app. Unlike many of the electronic units that sound, well, electronic, this tanpura app gives a sound that is very close to the acoustic instrument. Unlike the acoustic instrument, though, it is very easy to change sruti, introduce madhyama and nishadha. It sounds absolutely beautiful when connected to an amp. It has a lot of features for the price. I do believe that this app is a must-have for every musician, professional or amateur. My infant son loves it too...he sleeps to it's drone! Show more

I have been looking a tanpura/shruti box app that is the best in quality and easy for carrying with me anywhere. Tried using all other tanpura apps. Even spent more than $25 for an app. I am so happy that finally the makers of real tanpura has given me what I want In a very reasonable price. The quality and precision is appalling.
