I have lost a great deal of my organized music ALL of my imported music. I can’t just open the Lectionary Psalms book now, I have to individually upload them. This is a major mess for the amount of money we’re required to pay. DON’T PURCHASE THIS APP!!!! Show more

The last update was total junk and now, with IOS 14, it’s worse than junk. You should have to reimburse everyone’s outlay of money due to this garbage. I had different Mass settings all set up and now everything is mixed all into one file. You can’t use the typing function to put notes into hymnals. The Apple pen doesn’t work properly in this APP anymore either. Show more

One of the hymnals I downloaded/purchased is missing most of its content. How do I get it back without having to repurchase?

I used to love this app because I could use my gather 3 and imported music. My imported music has just disappeared! Poof! Gone! No help button either. I’m beyond disappointed!

They is extremely slow and crashes too much.

Thank you for adding the 2nd choir edition to the library which includes the 3rd edition of Gather. Our choir uses mostly the 2nd edition and there are some significant changes between the two. (Not the least page numbers). Just in time for the Passion and Easter. I love carrying my light iPad instead of the Hymnal. November 2017. For the Love of God PLEASE FIX THIS APP. It truely is impossible to use at this point. I’ve been using this for years. I finally tried deleting and reinstalling the app. I was able to get the hymnals I paid for back. At this moment, there is no duplication of entries or adding multiple songs to my lists. However I did lose the Easter, etc music lists. But for now everything is working well. December 2, 2018. The app works perfectly now. Only thing I would like is for GIA to add Gather 1st addition as our director prefers the psalms in that addition. Now I’ve lost the hymnals with new updates Help!!! I need Gather 3rd edition which I’ve paid for. How do I scan all Hymnals for a song? Show more

Where did all my imports go? I had seasons, years of music. I don’t even see an option for imports. What’s the point if I still have to bring a binder anyway? Will not let me import anything. Show more

Dear developer, Until the latest update, I loved this app and used it exclusively for the 2-3 weddings and 4 masses and 1-2 funerals I play in an average week. The recent update has rendered this app nearly useless and I have gone back to books and binders. Uggghh. I purposely waited to write this review until I wasn’t so upset. It took me about a week to find my old log-in and re-download all of my purchases. Of course, my dozens of set lists and hundreds of PDFs are gone, but I do appreciate that I now have a way to back up the music and hopefully that will never happen again. I’m not crazy about the look, maybe you wanted sleeker or simpler, but it looks like it went backward a version, it’s just so bland. However I do love that I can see the clock while I’m playing preludes. WOW. THANK YOU. The biggest problem, however, is that, I simply can’t trust the page turns...the arrow got a lot smaller and thinner and you have to be SOOOOO careful to press it in just the right place. We can’t do that when we’re singing, playing, and directing...we can’t work that hard! I tried a small three set prelude using the new app and was all over the place with pages and songs, it was a disaster. And I can’t use a blue tooth pedal with the organ. I’m at a new church now, and would like to purchase several more e-hymnals but I will not until and unless you get this usability fixed. Finally, (at least on my i-pad pro), the number pad for searching for hymns is also skinny and narrow (like the arrows for turning pages.) Again, this is really hard to use. Please consider making that bigger. And like other users, I can’t figure out why every time I open the app I have to wait for these sample hymnals to load and wait for it to “check for updates” and all that nonsense...please, we need it to just open and work. We are busy people. Go back to the old app with the ability to back up your music and I would pay a LOT of money for the app. The set lists, the search ability, the ability to rename titles in a set list (such as “prelude 1”)...your app was amazing. 1) Latest update does not open the book in the normal view, seems to be in some index, not the books index. But different books open correctly. Inconsistent at best. 2) Can no longer tap to remove the app header. Good reason to get PDFs of the content as other readers do not have this issue. 3) No way to reset app from settings. 4) App updates loose login credentials, pretty poor for 2020 Show more

All my downloaded music and readings have disappeared thanks to the latest update.

Hi just sat down and tried using this app. Cannot do because of the updates. It’s also updating Hymnals I have never purchased. If this happened on a Sunday morning in the middle of the service I would really be up the river. Show more

This revamp, along with the June 1 update, has made this app unusable. Support has not responded to either of the messages I have posted and seems to have stopped responding to ANYONE's messages, for that matter. Show more

I have been using this app for a three years now and even though it was not perfect it was functional and it worked fast. This new update is a total disaster for me. I want to highlight my experience so that you can maybe fix those issues. The main problem for me is the amount of time that it takes to load a screen specially between the library and the service lists or when trying to add new songs to the service lists. It literally takes one minute and thirty five seconds to bring it up. I’ve never had a problem before the update. Another issue is the page turn arrows are not working so well anymore. Many times it changed to the next song instead of the next page. Maybe the allotted arrow surface to change pages should be bigger and the next song should be done by swiping the screen like it was before. I noticed that if you tap at the bottom of the page that it turns to the next song... that’s un-necessary if we just swipe in the middle of the page. The arrow to turn pages should not be so close to the song change tap. Note: I have three years of service lists on the service list so that may be why it’s taking so long to load but i never had this issue before the update. If I could have an extra feature I would ask for folders for the service lists so I can separate by year and by activity. Maybe have a binder option. Well done on the update! It finally has a clean look. I wish the arrow design could change to the entire bottom and top of the screen. When I play at the organ, it is very hard to be precise. In this update, the arrows seem to lag as well. Show more

While the new update adds lots of nice new features including cloud backups (although native iCloud backup support would be preferred to having to sign up for yet another service account), the notes said that no functionality would be removed. This is not the case! One notable feature missing now is being able to access my imported hymns by number with the “Enter a hymn number” function. I specifically imported my hymns in number order when I noticed they were assigned a searchable value upon import so I could search them easily by number with this function, but it no longer works on imported music as of version 2.0. I know imported music databases had to be updated with this version so I’m not sure if the original import order was retained, but I would very much appreciate the option to simply search imported music by hymn number again (I will have to live with the separate search function for now). If it was done well, this would be a great app. As is, don’t waste your time or money. No good way that I’ve found to navigate around in the digital hymnals in the app. GIA would be wise to make a PDF similar to OCP’s. It is easily imported into iBooks, etc, and very easy to navigate. I use that one regularly. This app, though, instantly turned me off, and I have no desire to try to figure out how to make it work. Each digital hymnal is expensive, too. Dropped $75 on the psalms only to discover that they don’t include the same ones from the Ritualsong II Lectionary Psalms, even though every appearance led to that conclusion prior to purchase. Hard copies of accompaniment books are great. Very user friendly. Skip this version, unless you want frustration. Show more

If you import another hymnal from Dropbox; your attempt to place songs into folders you create, will only provide a picture of the front cover of that hymnal and not the song. The songs you place there from the GIA hymnal will transfer just fine. Show more

This is super frustrating. Please fix!

Since an update a few months ago, I have an issue when I create a list. For example, I will create a list for a wedding or funeral and once I add a song I will get about 20-30 other songs added to the list. I delete them and then they are gone until I add another song. Then they all appear back. Sometimes I get the same list of 20-30 two or three times making it a real pain to delete them all. I use this app all the time and the lists weren’t always like that. An this be fixed? Does it happen to anyone else? Show more

The IOS version is only available for IPad, not IPhone. I installed the Free App which had one sample so I wasn't as informed as I could have been prior to ordering. The App only gives and audio snippet of the hymns. I don't read music very well so it is not as helpful to me as it could be. Show more
