A great alternative to a metronome but tends to hang on newer iOS. Overdue for an update, which is a shame because this really is a very good app.

You can tell the developers spent time to think through the solutions. The loops and sounds are very high quality. Tons of variety too. Such a great app for producing, performing or jamming along to. You can download your audio loops easily via a web page which is slick. Highly recommend if you are looking for traditional or eclectic percussion for your music. I am not happy about this app, I bought it thinking it would be nice for midi mapping for drums at my fingers from my mpk mini. Not the case. The drum sounds are decent though, just needs MIDI LEARN.. and get rid of the dumb backing track nonsense Show more

Tnx❣️ ——- There seems to be one serious flaw...apparently you cannot manually play only and record that as every time I start, say AUM, recording DrumJam automatically starts playing. You can play alone but not play alone. That is no longer particularly useful to me anymore. ——- I can't not play DrumJam!! I love ThumbJam and I have been paying it ever since its first release. My finger will glide over to my iPad and start playing with rhythms. It's so easy to use. Incredible fun! Great sounds! Show more
