Need ability zoom to a smaller range of keys.

Kind of monotonous, I burn out quickly. For $5, not bad but leaves a bit to be desired for me. Wish it was more comprehensive in ledger notes.

This app is so involving and fun, pesky notes are mastered quickly! Great how it advances you automatically according to your progress which helps you be brave, still with full override ability to control moving on or going back etc. to focus attention where you want. Only suggestion I have is for note letters to appear momentarily on key presses in keyboard mode, would reinforce those associations subliminally to great advantage. Show more

I've been using this app for several months and find it is helping me remember the notes. At first I thought it was childish, but the process of learning to read music is the same no matter what age you are. I also put it on my Iphone so while I'm on the bus or train, I can practice on the go. I'm really glad I found this app. I eventually bought the full program. Show more

Good

As a piano teacher I use this app with my students and my children and think it's great for helping them learn their notes. It's a fun alternative to regular flash cards. Our only complaint is that the keyboard is too small and chubby little kid fingers have a hard time occasionally pushing the right key. If the keyboard was bigger it would be perfect. Show more

The app is no longer running sound with most recent iOS update. Please update the app!!! My students and I miss this!

It normally takes me forever to find a great app, but this one is wonderful! And my students love it!

Game can be customized in many ways and also works with midi keyboard. Really helps sharpen sight reading skills.

You should be able to use the stars to change the character or background music, because the stars are useless.

I've been using this app for a week and I am amazed at how much easier it is to read music. 15 minutes a day playing this game and suddenly piano practice is not a chore, it's actually fun because you know what it is that you're reading. There are levels for practicing note recognition, keyboard note recognition, and the do re mi system. Very beneficial app if you want to learn how to read music, art looking for a way to get your children interested in reading music, or for preparation for musical instrument lessons. Totally worth it. Show more
