The app disconnects my Bluetooth headset. The only way to make it work is by having another app opened in the background. Very very finicky. This app is extremely buggy, especially when using “advanced” recording mode. The engine’s input gain does not change even though the slider that adjusts it can be moved. The input gain value remains unchanged (can’t be changed by entering a desired value either). When the signal is clipped the whole recording gets “stuck” in that distorted range and has to be started all over again. This makes the app pretty much unusable unless you settle for a non WAV recording. Show more

Great app and have been so helpful. But Trim and Effects function is not working anymore.

I use this app to record bird sounds, and will soon be using it to record the calls of birds that migrate in the middle of the night while I sleep. The app is great for editing, has flexible setting, allows you to import files, and easy organization. It would be even better if one could view a spectrogram for the file. The ads do not interfere with the app’s functionality. Show more

I use for energy work recordings and to play some recordings I have downloaded, too!

My husband used and loved the program and used it all the time. He passed away and I want to save his stuff on my iPad from his permanently. Please tell me how I can save them with out being just for 24 hours. Thank you Show more

Once I’ve recorded something, how can I change its category?

Not sure this works with Tascam or Shure stereo mics. Nowhere is stereo mentioned.

I’ve been using this constantly since I’ve had a phone. Does everything you need and more. Great recorder, great features, professional feel and layout and I never feel bothered by ads. I’d gladly pay $20 if they charged! Show more

I’m running an iPad mini (5th gen) 15.4.1 ios. If I leave Voice Record Pro up after stopping the last recording, if I receive an iMessage the recording starts up, plays a second, then shuts down, then starts up and plays a second ad infinitum. The only way to get it to stop is to turn off the app. Show more

Every so often it stops recording after a minute or two with a fail message. There is no reason for the fail and it isn’t a storage issue. Don’t use it if you actually need to record something important. Well, I guess that means don’t us it! Show more

I am a long-time musician who records all of our practice sessions this app does it perfectly. The only thing the user is required to do to get a excellent recording is adjust the gain input. If you’d like to tweak audio format settings, edit audio clips and save to cloud services this app can do it all. Show more
