This app doesn't work on my iPhone 4. There is terrible feedback without headphones and even with headphones the sound is glitchy and even made my phone freeze for about a minute when I tried to turn it off. Show more

Awesome sounds!!!

There is no other app (or device) quite like Samvada. The ability to run any sound through its sympathetic string simulation allows for subtle to completely transforming sonic alterations. The reverb models are impressive in their own right, and it is also a cool string instrument and vocal effect. Great in the Audiobus effect slot! If I would suggest one improvement, it would be to add some kind of vibrato to the strings. But it's hardly a defect! Show more

While most of the music apps out there bleep, this one accompanies, enhances, and teaches. It is sublime.

The best app I have ever come across. I love the way one can add the strings along with the drone sound in background . You can use this to sing along as the background music will come automatically based on the raga selected. It is just amazing!!! Hats off to the developers. I am going with 5 stars - but a few suggestions here. - add more ragas please e. g Kalyan , pahadi etc they will enrich the app. - add basic tabla taal Show more

Involved in kirtan and world music chant and meditation for over 10 yrs this app is wonderful. Thank you for bringing to iPhone the difficult to access higher realms. Love the mic and recording features. And for free? Wow. Western music often misses the intuitive aspects of mastering the instrument then surrendering to the music so the melody can play through you. This app is so unique and cool. Throw on some headphones and start to sing, tap or whatever and you will be carried away into an awesome sonic headspace!
