    Amazing!!! Get it Support it.
Wow we finally have channel panning!?????⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️? Super! Bring on those in-app upgrades so we can support this genius and unique app.⚡️⚡️⚡️❤️? Since its release, nothing has come close to what this app has to offer. Sure, there are other granular apps out there but non have come close to the flexibility and durability of Samplr. It’s not just a granular app it’s also a great sequencer daw which goes beyond the conventional with great potential to go even further with community support. (Let’s make it happen ). If you never experience this, now here your chance. If you already have it, show support by giving ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️and comment favorably to also encourage in-app purchases to allow this app to flurish. Indispensable Lateral Music Making Marval
I've been using Samplr to play live over five years. Samplr is an intuitive kinesthetic touch based instrument with zero menu diving. In a world of reasonably high quality analogue budget synths and expensive hardware samplers it’s important to give occasional pause and recognize the beauty of working with machines or software that posses limitations. These so called ‘limitations’ mean less options. Having less options means less paralysis by analysis, and fear of missing out from not having ‘mastered’ all functions instantaneously. By using machines with less options you exhaust the possibilities of what is theoretically possible. Once thats been accomplished you can start approaching it from a lateral or novel perspective. Samplr allows you to exhaust all of its functions rather quickly; you can learn them in day or two. In six years I still find new ways to use the the tools provided. I imagine in six more I still will. It's my favorite instrument I have ever played and is an indispensable part of my set up. I use it to jam, to play everything I make live, dawlessly and to compose. I recommend it to everyone regardless of the genre of music you play. Hip hop, ambient, dub experimental, noise, music concrete. It does it all. The one music app to rule them all! Show more

Awesome App but no Mp3 support?
This truly is a great application. It’s almost like a granular sampler and it allows you to cut up samples and the craziest ways. When used separately, it can bolster creativity while letting you come up with some very interesting ideas that you can then turn into four songs on a full-blown DAW. However it’s a bit disappointing that it doesn’t support MP3 format and only supports WAV. If Devs can add this feature it would be truly awesome Show more

A couple of things keep it from being a 5 star ios app
There is nothing else really like this app out there and it’s awesome as a stand-alone instrument. What’s holding it back is lack of midi implementation, lack of auv3 compatibility, and cumbersome sample import. For a 30$ app one would expect those features in 2020. If the developer updates with those this would be a no brainer must have for every iOS producer/musician even at the price. Show more

    OMG OMG OMG IT’S BACK!!!
Glad I bought this at the original price (although once you have used it you know it is well worth the new one- heck, I’ve heard of people who bought an iPad ONLY to use Samplr), but to the dev: I would love to contribute again as a thank you for keeping one of the most amazing iOS instruments ever alive. My favorite podcast app, Downcast, has a sliding scale “tip the dev” IAP option that I have used several times. I think you would have a lot of people thrilled to be able to contribute again ? Fantastic
Unique without being overly complex and gimmicky, yet a beautiful tool that is much more than toy. Get this one. It’ll be a core part of your iPad music arsenal.

    Classics Never Die!!!
This app is one of those which truly shows the magic and power the iPad provides as an instrument for musicians. Great to see this update drop the same week as Borderlands dropped. Great work Marcos. Thanks for the love and care you’ve shown for this app. Still as fresh today as it was the day it was launched. I guess what they say is true, ‘great design is eternal’! ??™️ Show more

Best iOS music app hands down
This is a very innovative take on sampling and takes full advantage of a touch screen to manipulate audio samples in various ways. Extremely musical and essential in my music production setup. Just updated with Ableton Link and a crisp UI on iPad pro’s. LOVE IT! Show more

    Amazing but due for update
This is such a fun, creative tool. I find myself constantly turning to it for crazy sound design. Ableton Link would be a very welcome addition. It’s been 5 years... Seems like maybe time for an update. Regardless, it’s still worth far more than the asking price. Thanks for a truly unique app! Show more

    AudioPaste crashes every time
The app was great at one point but now seems abandoned ... too bad!!

most useful audio production app available
If I had to choose one app to make live or recorded music based on looping and chopping samples, it would be Samplr. You can dump GarageBand, Auria Pro, even AUM and Audiobus (well, maybe not - and you still need AudioShare/Audio Copy) and still have a great tool to make great postmodern music. I do wish the dev would do some overhaul, but if it means $20 for some UI differences, aesthetic color updates, and the addition of AU3 then I’m fine with it as is ... but honestly I would be happy to support the dev for any paid upgrades as long as there’s no subs. * like a lot of apps out there - especially audio apps - if you have any issues with something not happening like it should, just dump and reinstall. I used to leave chopped reviews based on the fact that I had no idea how many things can go wrong on an install, believing issues I was having needed to be fixed in the app. Don’t think I’ve seen in with Samplr, but I’ve had it for so long and reinstalled it and everything else enough times to know. So it seems like some of the less than 5 star reviews are experiencing this and should reinstall ... either that or they’re Abelton Enabled snobs that have never bussed a mix of 8 mics on an actual desk... not that that’s required (ok now I’m the snob).
