Great for NPR- ing locally!

Unique to WABE the stream drops regularly after an hour, sometimes more, sometimes less. No other streaming station I listen to does this. They either have a time out or a problem with maintaining the stream. Show more

The app repeatedly shuts off or goes back to the app intro. The GPB app works much better

This app is literally having all of NPR in one place. You can listen to local news, National news, older and newer news stories, classical music and so much more, from one place. I love the NPR App. Show more

Lives up to my expectations and more It goes with me wherever I go.

I love love love 90.1 WABE! I listen to 90.1 WABE every morning as I get ready for work and for both my morning and evening commute from work. I cannot even tell you how often the following words have come out of my mouth: “Oh hey, have you heard about ___X____? Then, I either tell them about a segment on NPR (which I only do via the WABE app or on the radio in my car), or we have both heard the same segment and proceed to discuss and analyze the same. Through this, I have introduced many of my family, friends, colleagues, and total strangers to the WABE 90.1 app! You used to have the option to listen to old shows or previously aired segments, which I loved! Despite that, this NPR app is amazing! Show more

A year ago I moved to FL but their NPR station app crashes, this one works much better, find myself using again

This app is the first thing I install on each new phone I get. I think the honesty and clarity of purpose in telling the listeners the stories they have to tell is beyond reproach. Easy to catch daily news. Would have given 5 star but the app takes a while to load.

No matter what WiFi network I’m using, including over 100 Mps , the streaming is erratic with constant interruptions & stuttering - bad app

Just heard the same 15 seconds of programming 4 times in a row. Then I heard about 3minutes of dead air, followed by the same 15 seconds on continuous repeat. Annoying. Show more

Great app thanks!

The last week or so the live audio stops after it’s been playing for a minute or so and it really struggles to recover. I’ll have to press play again, and even then there’s only 10-20 seconds of content that loops before it stops again. This happens over and over and is leading me to leave the app all together and find something else to listen to. Please fix! Show more

App used to work just fine for me for several years. Now it really does not work. I’m using other station apps and NPR one. Too bad.

In addition into listening to current live stream programming when the radio waves are otherwise not available to me, it is also good for catching up on other news and events Show more
