    Must have
Brilliant app for any iOS music producer. 5+ stars for this and all related Holderness apps. This is an easy to use, yet deep app -- at this price point it's a no brainier -- a must have app. Show more

An amazing effects app for iOS music
Echo Pad is easily one of the most recommended apps for iOS musicians. It is easy on CPU, has a ton of effects to be tweaked, and can be used by both beginners and experienced users. The developer is an updating machine as well, constantly improving and adding more features. If you need an effects app that plays well with others in Audiobus, this is an easy recommend. Show more

    Love this app!!!
One of the coolest delay/looper effects I've ever played with, including my beloved old DigiTech DSP-8000 (which truthfully couldn't do anywhere near as much a this can - RIP). Love the new UI, and the dev is extremely responsive and dedicated to constantly improving and updating. Show more

    AMAZING more fun updates, AGAIN!!
Seriously committed developer. Most bang for your buck ever -as music effects go- considering how the app just keeps being developed and developed! NO abandonware here! Just more Echopad goodness! Reasonably priced.. Yeay! Thx for the update! Show more

Makes my Bass Guitar Sound Awesome!
First thing I'd like to say is that this guy makes really awesome apps! I have all three of his FX apps: Swoopster, Stereo Designer, and Echo Pad. They all provide unique sounds that make my music sound awesome. This particular app Echo Pad has a range of awesome FX. My favorite thing to do is use Swoopster as an FX on my Bass guitar. It provides me with a bunco of awesome sound options that sound great on recordings. Show more

Multi FX that you can play like an instrument
Its really more than just a delay. This is a tactile effects unit that you can use to process anything audio. Other apps, your DAW’s signal through an audio interface, guitar through an Apogee Jam... It syncs with midi and works great with Audiobus. Show more

Why couldn't Echo Pad's UI be beautiful like stereo designer?
Wish you guys will improve the UI in future.

    Superb
My "go-to" for delay and echo on an iPad.

    Easily Over the Top
This app can be as traditional or as ridiculously outside a multifx processor as you can stand. An easy touch is required or this will get insanely out of hand in a hurry. But then that's the beauty of it. You have a nicely flanged and delayed spacey thickener, or you can turn a clip inside out and send it to a galaxy far far away. Click a lot of buttons, go granular and that cute noise your cat makes is the sound of a T Rex giving birth. In a canyon. Forty miles away. Through an aluminum fence pole. Show more

    Waste of time and money

    Frustrating
Keeps closing to sleep mode after a minute. Will only stay open using audiobus.

    Great App/Great Dev
Besides Echo Pad being a great effects app, the Dev has updated it numerous times with features that are very usable. He participates in various IOS forums to hear, and add to relevant conversation about IOS Music and where it's going. With Audiobus and IAA support Echo Pad is a winner. Just get it. Show more

A great effect sitting in the middle of the bus!
Echo pad has been around and steadily improves its feature set. I especially liked when the oil can delay came out. It somehow fit just right with a tune I was working on, doing a cool number on some percussion, and I was thankful then but never got around to saying it. It's almost too feature laden for me and I'm not bagging on the app at all, I just don't get around to all the automated parameter control and the use of the turntables for looping- I think...(probably would be handier than my slow process...) and the various other semi automated parameters and loopers. I think that since I have older hardware I have to make sacrifices and I really love a minimal interface that just has the capacity to do sonic mayhem and with echo pad you got yourself a modern bunch of SPX90's and then some - ready to tackle the subtle or armed for industrial music if you want to head that way! Thanks for the great app! Show more

    Gift that keeps on giving!
I look at this thing as if it's now a full fledged Kaoss Pad! Sound on sound, motion loopers, multi fx, recording...get the f@#% out of here! For something like $4?!?! If you use it with an interface like any of the ones he lists (I use an iO Dock) you're set. This is the most cared for music app I've maybe ever had. Consistent updates and quality sound. Having experienced the early days of this app it's funny to compare to because it was always simple and still looks the similar but internally is basically unrecognizable and very capable. Truthfully the Koass Pad analogy is spot on, this may just be better bc it's not $300, does the same things AND, with an interface, has better ins/outs! Very happy with this app. Show more
