I love “almost” everything about spire. I wish that you could copy and paste vocals onto the same track. I also wish sharing was easier as well. The files are always to big to send via email, text, etc. Please advise the best way to do so. Otherwise I love it! I love the effects too. Thank you. Show more

Really easy to use, I’ve tried other apps for recording multiple voices separately for a-cappella, and they are either extremely difficult to work out, or just cost money. Seeing as I’m not a professional, the audio seems pretty dang good, but maybe there are better apps for quality, but for me it all works out. Show more

This app is absolutely perfect but you developers meet to add the ability to pan and a usable library of effects, instead of strange, distortion and verbs that are not usable in every day music production! Otherwise awesome job! Show more

The product doesn’t do what it once did, and even now the user is without a manual. It’s a great recording device, but no one wants to sit thru videos waiting to the get the answer or steps they need to do what they want to do. Show more

What I like about this app is it uses the good quality phone mic instead of converting to my low quality headphones like GarageBand does. This makes recording multitrack a much better sounding and easier. If this app had a simple drum machine it would be an absolutely dream! Show more

I recorded my first album and did everything, entirely by myself. That was 12 years ago on early GarageBand. Spire is like that experience but a million times more amazing, simply because Spire understands technology and the future of music. Enjoy Spire. Appreciate it. How could you not? Show more

I’ve recorded an album using Spire and love it. The effects and Mastering are incredible. Would love to see a copy/paste/drag option for tracks.

I am a 50-year-old musician with a family and not much time to sit down and record music. The free spire app lets me record in the moment wherever I am using my phone mic. I have been able to record things that otherwise would have been forgotten by the end of the day. Thank you Spire! Show more

I mostly use this to save single track recordings of song ideas. The multiple tracks are great but I rarely have a wired headset with mic to overdub with, and with Bluetooth headphones, there’s too much latency. My number one request, and I hope someone can provide a solution, is a way to bulk transfer all recordings from my phone to my PC. I’ve got far too many to export one at a time. Any solution for this? Show more

Spire has become my collection spot for composing ideas.

If you could somehow manage to make the spire hardware compatible with other mobile daws it would be a 5 star.

I enjoy the spire hardware and the app, however it is really disappointing to know that regular (if any updates) will be made to the app anymore…I reached out to izotope on Instagram and they said that no planned updates are in the works because spire is “no longer a focus”. It’s frustrating because the hardware and the software both only work with each other, I can’t use the spire hardware on any other DAW that has continuous updates, the current app is fine but I was looking forward to more updates, such as copy/paste, easier punching into tracks, the ability to add reverb to each track with the option to add before or after I record…just some weird things with the app that could be improved but I guess won’t be now, they just came out with version 2 last year….
