So I just set up a bunch of LED strips from Hue in my living room for when I DJ on stream. I found this app through the Phillips hue application actually and I found that this application works very well and says what it does there’s one problem that made me not give it a five at least twice during my show I had to unplug the lights and completely reset them so that the app could recognize them again and continue it’s disco function please fix this and I’ll rate five Show more

So I got this app before I even received my hue bulbs in the mail and at first it’s a blast to use especially during this quarantine. I do have an issue though, sometimes the light show randomly stops and I’m not able to reconnect. I usually have to exit the app and sometimes disconnect the lights as well to reset and try again. ... and if you say it does, you’re lying. It just isn’t a functioning app unless you just want to set a BPM then go for it. Don’t expect this thing to sync well or at all with your music by using the microphone. Show more

I bought that app to later find out that the bridge is required this should be specified somewhere.

App works perfectly, no issues so far. If you have lots of Phillips hue lights, this app is a must have. Our kids love having disco parties at home. Work both with music playing on an iPhone or iPad, or uses the microphone to synchronize with the beat of music playing in the room. Show more

Can you chose just one light if you can’t please make it to where you can

This app used to be good but now EVERYTIME I want to use the app I have to sprint and press the bridge button to get it to work. This is extremely inconvenient and annoying. ?????? Show more

Would’ve been nice to know that the bridge is required for this to work. The description says won’t work without controller.. maybe I missed the bridge somewhere but since you can link lights using Bluetooth I assumed this would have the same option. Waste of $4.00. :( Maybe my review will change if they change the linking to Bluetooth for those who don’t use the bridges. Show more

The app looked like it was made in 5 mins. The layout of everything is terrible and connectivity is plain awful. I wouldn’t have been mad if this app was free, but it sadly was not. Save your money. Show more

Nonfunctional as of 06DEC2019 with HUE bridge and lights.

This app used to be 100% reliable but now it seems like lights hang and skip colors way more.

At first this worked like a charm. Now it won’t respond to music and all my lights are connected. I wouldn’t pay for this app

Stupid app only wants to “discover” and old Hue bridge that no longer exists.

I’ve launched this app twice in the last month and both times it failed ... again! Tried to show lights off to friends, but HUE DISCO was a “no show.” HUgE DISAPPOINTMENT !!! Show more

Tbh not that good it didn’t really work and all it did was flag white and black most of the time and then after I get out of the app the lights just teen off i am actually trying to get my money back right now Show more

This app is very fun to use but like others said, the lights don’t change with bass drops which is disappointing. The main reason for only 3 stars is because I have a perfect WiFi connection and the app is ALWAYS showing me “false WiFi” and that I need to go hit the button on the bridge to reconnect.. Show more

Had this app for years. Through all the updates of equipment and abs, it has never worked for the timeable morph, the feature I got it for. Back into the junk app drawer. Show more

I can’t get it to synchronize to music at all. I tried boosting the mic volume and putting it right next to the speaker. No dice.

Philips should take some lessons away from this app
