    Please note.
Cool app that I feel I don't fully appreciate yet. Please note though, that without the 8.99 in-app upgrade there is "this is a free version" audio announcement when using it as an audiobus effect. Show more

Works great with audiobus on ipad mini
Not sure what Dark NRG is talking about as audiobus works great on an ipad mini(same internals as an ipad 2). Most these bad reviews are based on people wanting everything for free and not rating the product on its actual functionality. I am able to run this with various apps all within audiobus. When using audiobus it's a good idea to close all other apps and turn on airplane mode. Show more

    Excellent
I purchased the Full Version after reviewing the test version. With Audiobus it is fantastic, creative, user friendly and fun. As with any app evolutionary updates will follow. The negative comments are ridiculously unfair. Thank you to the creators of this great app. Show more

    A VERY promising start
This app isn't perfect yet. But it is an EXCELLENT start to what I'm sure will be an amazing app. The more I spend time with it, the more I like it. Some people have said that the audio peaks a lot, but this is why there are input and output gain adjustments. Just give yourself HEADROOM. That's how things work when you're processing audio through effects. You cannot expect to run audio at full volume through a filter like this without clipping the signal badly. Anyone who's ever used an MS2000 know what I'm talking about. Sending Glitchbreaks through this is gonna be like jumping over a tank of sharks through a ring of fire while riding on a surface-to-air missile... whatever that means. This app is mine now. You should have it too. Show more

    Pretty cool
So I've been waiting for this app to come out for the longest time, and as soon as I saw it I downloaded immediately. The funny thing is.... For Christmas I got a kaoss pad quad, not the best I know but it's really good, and as soon as I saw the screen for this app I knew it was a copy. Granted there are other features in this app than on the quad, but I went threw and he four effects banks and the effects in them are the exact same as the Korea quad . Just something to think about Show more

    This thing!
Life changing. If you can't groove with this thing go get yourself a part on the walking dead.

    LiveFX + Audiobus =Awesome
I find the functionality of the app to be perfect,..it's a great tool to taking static loops and breathing life into them. I gave it 4 stars because it did crash on me whilst setting it up in Audiobus the first time,....I reopened it in Audiobus the second time and it ran fine. I was able to run a Midi sequencing app, Audiobus, LiveFX and iPolysix without any problems on my iPad 3. Bottom line- this app will inspire you and get your creative juices flowing... it is TOTALLY worth the $8.99 US to take away the nag loop. Show more

    great first version
It is unfortunate that this is getting dumped on so heavily. Most of the complaints I've read I am not able to reproduce. Instantly assuming LiveFx is the sole reason things aren't working as expected seems premature. I'm amazed to see ratings of 1 star because it wasn't perfection or because a person doesn't have the 9 bucks they were going to pay if they were remotely serious about music anyway.. I give it a 4 because yes while it does need some work it isn't unusable, hasn't presented any stability problems, and has made this day and hopefully many more a lot more fun. I did pay for the upgrade after confirming it basically functioned as described so perhaps my experiences are skewed by the lack of the annoying voice over. One thing to keep in mind is that this is the first version and almost every popular iOS music app wasn't 100% on day one...better to offer up some constructive criticism and focus on the positive to keep good projects like this moving forward. Frustration Nation
I felt compelled to write a review based upon the last 6 minutes I spent contemplating throwing my iPad across the room. When I opened up this app I was excited like high school girl on prom night. I sat through the tutorial and was impressed. It essentially has the same functions of a KP2. I really like how you can use different effects simultaneously. Once the tutorial was over though that was it. I thought the app was free but it turns out it is just a demo. You can't route it through audiobus, if you turn the mic on you hear someone saying it is a demo every 2 seconds, and it gives you the option of playing 3 crappy songs. How am I suppose to test the effects if I don't know the songs? Plus the songs you chose are so heavily effected I don't know what I am effecting or what is in the song. Basically I was really let down. I was so frustrated that I was ready to buy the app just to actually get a real chance to try it....but they don't give you the option to buy it yet!!!!! Show more

    Well worth the price
This app is so much fun to play around and mangle your beats with. And when it comes to building effect chains that create there own melodic sequences as you morph and switch and twitch and glitch and yea lol il stop because I'm starting to sound like a shamwow commercial. This app is amazing, beautiful interface. Those of you rating this app poorly based on it having a price to unlock the FULL version should really not have the right to post reviews anymore period. Keep in mind the talented designers who created this app and all the hard work they put in so we can have a MUCH NEEDED IOS FX APP and not only did they just release it, THEY GAVE US A FREE PREVIEW to TRY IT BEFORE WE BUY IT. Thank you Elephantcandy. You guys created a beautiful addition to IOSs music scene Show more

    Are you kidding me?
Don't offer something as free when the free version is so crippled that it's worthless even as a demo. Shame on you. I thought the free version might be missing a few of the effects, but I never expected that every few seconds you would make an obnoxious voice would blare from the speakers, making it impossible to hear how my music would really sound through your effects. Probably no big loss though, because performance is terrible! I tried to run Animoog into it via Audiobus on an ipad 3, with no other apps running. Live fx started hiccuping, distorting, and stuttering with only one effect activated. I deleted this lemon after five minutes. Show more

    Not sure just yet...
Also had a couple of crashes initially (iPad 3, fully updated, background apps closed prior to launch). Stabilized after the fourth or so launch, played OK with PolySix and Loopy HD. Yes, the nag message is annoying; this plus the price of the app is enough for me to hold off for now. I want to see what I can do with it without the constant intrusions. Find another way to restrict functionality until the app is purchased. That said, gonna play with this one a bit more - good start. Show more

Awesome potential - needs Dropbox & Soundcloud
So far so good! I've only just started playing with the Pro version, but what immediately comes to mind is how amazing it'd be to be able to stream from Soundcloud and process with this. Could probably be achieved by using Cloud DJ as input to this via Audiobus, but having it directly supported (as well as Dropbox) would be sweeeet. My first few attempts using it as Effect and Output with Audiobus resulted in the app crashing as soon as I tied to insert anything in the Input slot. After force-quitting everything and restarting Audiobus I was able to get it working in both slots. If you can duplicate the functionality of my old DigiTech PDS-8000 sampling delay pedal I'll be in heaven. I used it to layer long loops from cassettes. I could have the loop running then punch-in/out a piece to layer over the loop. Show more
