Crashes a lot.. Works but then crashes for no reason. Can restart and use it but a real hastle.

Great app, worth way more than $12. Used this app for a home karaoke setup, with usb mic and hdmi cable going to the TV, works great. Basically it's pulling karaoke songs from YouTube and has about 95% of the songs I want. But if there’s a song you want on YouTube, it’s really easy to add it to the app. Btw I think all issues with YouTube ads appearing has been fixed, haven’t seen one ad in 3+ hours of usage. Protip: Use GarageBand for mic playback (Google: “GarageBand mic monitor”), it works well and provides higher quality audio. Show more

Compared to what you spend on a Karaoke machine and all of the tracks, its decent for the price. Some of the songs are absolutely horrible! Save the Last Dance by Michael Buble is the most horrendous version of this song I have ever heard. Others are really, really good. Some of the songs do have the lead voice in the background which is nice if you don’t know the song that well, but annoying if you were expecting to be the solo “talent”. Show more

This is still an absolute waste of money. The mic delay ruins the singing experaince and on top of that you cannot turn off the stpuid effect. We don’t want to sing the entire time with echo reverb on. The delay needs to be addressed the developers should be embrerased with themselves over how horrible this app runs. FAIL Show more

I have used this app a lot and until the recent improvement it worked fine except for the mic lag, but at least it worked. Trying to use it now my voice sounds like a synthesizer cant even hear my words. It is now completly unusable. Sad…….Hope it gets fixed Show more

All that I see is a black window with a spinning wheel. Tried several songs, cant find one that works. Its eaiser to search youtube directly.

I am a professional DJ and was looking for a streaming App for my business and this app does do the trick for the most part. A problem that I am having with it is that some of the songs are not of the quality that I would want. For example there are like 3 different versions of the song Red by taylor swift. Only one of them is good. There are versions with the singer still in the song which I do not want either like one of the versions of eye of the tiger. I honestly feel like the song list just needs a good cleaning out so I’m not finding out on the fly that the song I clicked is not up to the quality that I would want. Otherwise I really do like the app it is simple inexpensive and easy to use. If the song list gets cleaned out this is easily a 5 star app for me. I have read other reviews about advertisements and as of yet I have not run into and issue. I kind of feel like the amount of songs is a good advertising point which kind of drew me in I would like 8000 of the right songs without a flute where it should be a guitar line a lot better. Please No ads. It playes an ad then skips to the next song without playing the one you wanted

This app has provided me and my friends and family hours of fund! I will the playlist could be alphbetized. Other than that it is great!

This app seemed too good to be true at first. Easy to find good songs, interface clean. Simple to use. But then as I started to actually search for certain artists, I found that many of the videos were merely advertisements. I think to myself “Ok, wait out the ads, the song will play once the ad is finished …” Wrong! Some of the videos are just ads. That’s it. And long ones! Support is responsive, but their reasoning for the adverts not so good. As one of the only options as a Mac app it’s good, but somewhat deceitful. Show more

What is with all the ADs? I paid for the app. This was not free and supported by Ads. Ok to play with but seriously wasted my money!

I installed Karaoke Tube on latest OSX running on Macbook Pro, and a Logitech USB microphone. The microphone is recognized and functional, but Karaoke Tube does not relay audio from the mirophone to the speaker output. I have an email in to support, where hopefully they can help me resolve this issue. I’ll make sure to post any good results back to this forum. After all, Karaoke without microphone support isn’t Karaoke. If you don’t see my follow-on review, you’ll know support hasn’t contacted me, and Karaoke Tube is nothing more than a scam. Well, I received a support email same day I created this review so I have to give kudos for the quick response. I raised my rating from 1 to 3 star based on effort. The reponse was a good effort, but did not resolve my issue. I will continue to work with support and update this review. At this point, i’m encouraged with the responsive support and hopefully optimistic we’ll resolve the issue… stay tuned. Show more

UPDATE: Okay so the new version seems to have fixed all of the spam tracks. I got a mail back from support initially saying ‘tell us which ones are bad’ which was silly because it was nearly all of them, but they seem to have worked the spamware out or fixed their submission process to ensure it’s not a bunch of garbage. I can now say that I use this app a lot and it is AWESOME! BUY IT!! ------------ I spent a fair amount of cash on this and I have found maybe three songs out of the 7000 that are NOT ads. Every song is instead an ad for a movie or some disney channel garbage. NEARLY EVERY SINGLE ONE. Worst purchase I have ever made on the app store by a wide margin. Support is nonexistent. This is basically a complete scam cash grab. They are selling a product that doesnt work as a platform to sell the ads they are collecting money for from ad companies. This should really be taken off of the app store. It completely misrepresents the functionality. Show more

Brilliant app for the price….. I have spent two days using the app in preparation for a 16th birthday party where I am doing the music ……. some people might be interested in doing some singing. I can not believe the amount and variety of songs featured in this app for the price. There is a lot of scope for future development…… e.g. Being able to print out the names of artists and song titles so the audience can find a song to sing…….Some tips and guigelines could be provided under the help section to save other customers a great deal of trial and error that I have had to go through……. Despite all this I am Really Impressed! Show more

This app is just bad. Terrible UI interface and poor overall function. Don't buy this.

I love the app. Lots of songs but I find it hard or impossible to add songs to the library. I wish you made it easier
