Update makes this so much better
The app is snappy and the content is great. I love it this update

Worked great for me - try the updated version.
Navigation is smooth and intuitive. I was quickly reading about and watching video clips from some of my favorite artists. Wish it was free but it’s time to accept good journalism is worth paying for! Show more

    Great photos in the gallery!
Thank you for putting up this cool content that might otherwise get lost.

    So much better!
The new design of this app is so much better than the old version!! This is what I would expect from Rolling Stone.

    HUGE RIP OFF
The RS app is a piece of crap and that is an insult to crap. They will continue to charge you but just try to download the current issue...June has been downloading for the last two months! And good luck with their customer support. Horrible. I am cancelling and asking my bank for a refund! Show more

Here’s the ‘big deal’- app is garbage!!!!!-can’t stand you RS
I have a print subscription to RS and am expected to pay twice to view online or view issues in an app? Many people write a review and say ‘what’s the big deal’? Must be youngsters who don’t know what things were and quite often, what they are. Let me explain. I subscribe to many magazines. Every single one either has a free app for print subscribers or allows you to download a .pdf of every issue and save it. Just to name a few, The New Yorker, The Atlantic, Wired, The Economist and Vanity Fair all have apps that automatically allow you to download ANY issue you have EVER purchased. My libraries for these four examples go back six-eight years. Even magazines I discontinued like The New York Magazine allow me to download any issue I ever bought. Scientific American, Premier Guitar, Acoustic Guitar all allow me to download a .pdf copy of the current issue and save it. Rolling Stone is going into the high roller category of subscriptions at $59.95/yr for 12 issues and I’m expected to pay twice? There’s your big deal, folks. Rolling Stone is greedy. When my subscription expires- bye bye Rolling Stone. Subscriber for over 30 years. UPDATE: Got an email about this review. Tried AGAIN to sign up using my paid print subscriber credentials. Can’t be done!! Want me to go through Zinio. NO- I WANT TO USE MY PAID PRINT SUBSCRIBER CREDENTIALS AND I CANT!!! STILL CAN’T!!! I have been a paid subscriber for decades and I still can’t use this screwed up App. I tried to contact the developer via the link in the email sent to me and the page won’t even load!!!! This is the worst app ever! Show more

    Pathetic
I find myself restoring my account EVERY TIME I open the app.

    Absolutely disappointed
Absolutely terrible customer service. I didn’t receive my new issue physically or online and they sorry we’ll extend your subscription one month. I haven’t missed an issue of Rolling Stone in decades and their reaction is meh. I don’t know what ever happened to one of the most iconic publications of all time but evidently they could care less Show more

    Ripoff
Deleted all my downloads and will not restore my purchases! Big waste of money!

    GTFOOH
Did the latest update. Cannot download issues anymore even though I have a subscription. Then I see the price of the subscription renewal jumped from $20 to $50 for the year. There is no way I’m renewing. Not worth it. Show more

    What am I paying for?
I fed adds but none of the content shows. I have tried to contact RS but no response. Worthless at this point.

Been very happy until latest update
Cannot restore my iTunes subscription purchases. I’ve been an iTunes digital subscriber for a few years and my subscription does not renew until Feb 2020. NOT happy

    Avoid this app!
I love the magazine but this app is worthless. Like others, I haven’t been able to read content for months.
  • dave002, 07.05.2019
    Issues don’t download
Recent issues either didn’t appear at all or now only partially download.
  • LHWex, 04.03.2019
Keep waiting for it to get better
My digital subscription has been and continues to be extremely frustrating. For most new issues, I can only get them by deleting my RS app and downloading it again. Not sure why they have so many problems but I have yet to see any improvement. Disappointing to say the least. Show more

    Terrible
More often than not, the app logs me out between uses and it’s been completely random when I’ve been able to access issues. I’m cancelling at the end of this subscription absent a complete redo. If you don’t have this app yet, save yourself some money and frustration! Show more

    App is awful
Constantly can’t download new issue. Keep getting prompted to “buy” issue. I’ve sent 3 emails to support with NO response. I would give this app a zero if that was a choice... Show more
