I have an Alpine UTE-62BT in dash unit with Bluetooth in my Mercedes Benz. Recently had an Alpine PWE-S8 compact subwoofer installed in the trunk. This subwoofer isn’t even listed within the list of alpine subwoofers so I can tune it. I’m so disappointed with my Alpine purchases. Problems with the Bluetooth microphone, forward button to change songs and now the app to tune the system properly. Don’t waste your money on Alpine products! Show more

I was playing around with the app and it was downloading factory settings. Unit shut down thinking oh great it’s updating it. Well if turned back on but now it won’t do a single thing. It displays unable to update, must contact tech support. It’s a week old $2000 unit and sure it will have to go back. Wont be using this app again Show more

First of all, this is great for easily getting at the more advanced sound settings without having to deal with the deck's endless scrolling lists. It's also nice to know that all my settings are saved for when I inevitably disconnect the battery and the deck reverts to stock. That said, the app is missing the ability to open a previously saved tune and simply update it vs. having to create a new one. Every time. Kind of annoying for it to not have that basic function. Also, it makes you pick your vehicle... Which is fine if your car is on the list. Mine (1990 Nissan 300ZX) wasn't on the list, so I just picked something similar. Overall, definitely worth getting... But could use an update. Show more

It used to work now I can’t get it to connect please fix it

I own a cde-143bt and was planning on upgrading to the cde -164bt so I can use this app. I downloaded this app to try before buying the new stereo and I’m glad I did that because it doesn’t have mid bass bandpass capability. Basically useless to me without that feature. Also, don’t make it a requirement to select your car type and provide such a limited selection to choose from. Seems unprofessional. Maybe have an ‘other’ field for cars not on the list. Show more

No communication between devices. Won’t connect. I’ve tried everything I can think of. I just want the BT to work again. It randomly stopped

The app works perfect. All the negative reviews are old. Hooked this thing up found a couple tunes that matched my stereo system and wow! I am stunned by how much tuning your system improves the sound. Absolutely love it!! Show more

Basically I am unable to tune my helo9, no matter I connected via CarPlay, Bluetooth. I have tried either with engine on or off, parking mode or not. When I look up supported head units helo9 iLX 309 is not on the list. Support in the app is another joke. Show more

Terrible. Does not work. Will not modify startup screens and no firmware update has ever been published.

Downloaded the app shortly after I got my CDE-HD149BT and saved a few different tuning setups. Pretty helpful after having the battery disconnected & alot easier to adjust while listening than going thru the menus. Now with the latest update my Iphone doesn't connect after trying everything so this app is pretty much useless now. UPDATE 3/18...app’s back to connecting & working perfectly again. one suggestion I’d make is to make it more user friendly to adjust the tuning on tubes already saved instead of having to create a new saved tune every time Show more
