I’ve used this free of charge for years, just last night. I go to the app tonight, first thing I see is I have to subscribe or I have to deal with ads. Very disappointed. After reading other reviews I’m glad I’m deleting the app. Show more

I’m a longtime user. Turned on the “free” app today to relax and within 5 minute span the waves were interrupted 6 times by a pop-up asking me to buy the upgraded version. Being harassed isn’t very relaxing. This has never happened with this app before. Needless to say I’m deleting the app. Call me cheap, but free is free. Show more

This app was good when I first got it. I was asleep in minutes. But now I have to fully restart my phone if I want to play it through the night. It is truly annoying. It just adds an extra step to my night that should not have to happen. So as a warning to people who are going to soon get this app, this can happen. Show more

The sounds don’t sound like the ocean. Some are metallic. Also, I set the timer for 30 minutes and barely get three before it shuts off. Not impressed.

I have loved this app and have used it for multiple years but now it is shutting off every time I lock my phone. I’m not sure if this is a bug, but it would be nice to correct. Best ocean sounds! Show more

It really helps me sleep, because is sly I feel very scared and having trouble to sleep but this always helps me. ( I love the palm cove one!)

There is an annoying pause in the audio as it loops. Makes it difficult to listen to, especially with headphones. I would not buy this again.

When my dog was waking me up late at night, I decided to get this app. It works like a charm. In fact, I’m listening to it right now and my dog is fast asleep. It’s very calming in stressful situations (for me). I would definitely recommend this app. Adding on to that, there is a night mode, when I first got into the app, it was as bright as a star, but I looked around for a bit to find out there was a dark mode. What a life saver. But, I don’t really like the pop ups. At least they aren’t huge, and they don’t pop in your face saying BUY THIS NOW!! It’s just calmly asking for you to buy it so you can wake up to waves. Other than that, the app is amazing. Show more

What more can I say!?

My daughter has a wave sound machine in her room, but it’s not convenient to take out of town. Then I discovered this app! Now we visit friends and family or on vacation I put on this app and she is straight to sleep! Show more

After a family trip to Florida where we rented a house right on the beach, left the window open and heard the waves crashing all night, and slept like babies, we got this app and use it with a Bluetooth speaker every night. We use it at home and in every trip. I also travel to Africa and use it when sleeping there. The app is fantastic. We have not had any of the problems the 1-star reviewers mention. I’m never notice a gap, and the waves sound great. The ads are a bit annoying but NO big deal at all, really. Nothing but 5 stars here from a 5-year user. Terrific app. Show more

This app worked fine the first night, but then started shutting off after 5 minutes, no matter which sound I set it on. I thought perhaps the first night was just an introductory offer, and since the app was only $1.99, I purchased it thinking that would solve the problem. It did not! Now I’ve paid for an app that is completely useless!! Show more
