    Beautiful
Nave makes beautiful sounds, and they're very very controllable. If there was only one synth for the iPad, I would take this one.

    Very Best
Nave is hands down the best sounding, most diverse synth app on the market. While the wavetable is a bit of a learning curve (pun definitely intended), it is worth it to get familiar with it, as their pretty much no end to what you can create with it. This synth is absolutely unreal. Show more

    Attractive synth.
I really like this synth but It's very importing to add TAP TEMPO.

    Super-Obvious Mistake, Waldorf!
IMHO: Nave is the best iOS synthesizer currently available as of November 2015 - it easily sounds as good as a lot of high-end soft synths that run exclusively on our pc/Mac's - Having said that: Waldorf? Are you listening? Ok: I run Nave exclusively on both an Air 1 & 2 - Why is the polyphony HALF on my Air 2 versus my Air 1? Needless to say, I've done a fair amount of testing to confirm this: the Air 1 gives you 24 voices, whereas the Air 2 halves that to 12 - iOS 9.1 using a Tascam iur2 interface (yes it is compatible, using the iPads Lightning port and externally powering the box with a configured y cable and usb power pack) Show more

    Killer App
Nothing but praise for this app. I wish I could say the same for Attack, which is taking forever to get fixed.

    PPG vs. Nave
If you couldn't choose between PPG and Nave, you probably seen most forum searches came up with 50/50 answers as they are only comparable as wavetable apps, yet different in some ways. Basically, you need both, but which one to buy first is the question right? Go with nave as you will not be disappointed. PPG gives you something to look forward to later with further tweaking tools after you have mastered Nave. The only bug I have seen is that the Audiobus tab on the side is sometimes in-tappable. (Yes, even after running Audiobus first and then opening Nave within Audiobus) other than that, if you have any complaints about lag or crashing, get yourself the newest iPad! Mine is working just fine. :) Show more

Please make this a real hardware synth! Please?
Man the Waldorf people should think about making a hardware version of this killer top shelf synth! I just wish there was a piano role to create sequences ! How they did this is beyond me! So amazing ! Plus it can TALK! My only gripe is the sequencer, which is hmmm, kinda clumsy on this kind of screen size . .Peace Christo Show more

Great but not good for your first synth.
My first review was too harsh. This is my second review. Incredible piece of German tech. Best direction manual I have ever seen for a synth. I hate the presets... All 500. And it is complicated to program. With that being said it is so cool it should be checked out. These guys are on to something amazing here and I'm glad to support their effort and look forward to their next creation. It's worth it just for the directions. Not for you if you wa Show more

    Five stars is not enough
I think Waldorf has destroyed the competition with this one. Whereas other legendary synth makers fall short on the iOS platform, Waldorf excels. So versatile, powerful & beautiful sounding. I can't wait until they release their Attack drum synth for iOS. I was not expecting this to be this good. Show more

    Absolute Top Synth -- Bar-None.
2015-03-06 -- The only thing I would note is a dear plea to devs not to let the dust get to thick before the next update.

Very Almost cool, 3 and 1/2 stars
Definitely not Awesome but I think it's more because of a need for more processing power, because it just seems to become sluggish and crash a bit too often. I think wave table synthesis must be hard to pull off within the constraints of a tablet, One of the developers created N Log Pro which is still one of the 10 best synths for an iOS device, so you know that he's on top of his game. The app IS cool, but if you have 20 of the best synths this is one you will not use a whole lot, if you want to play with a cool wave table synth don't hesitate on this one, but don't expect it to be your favorite synth for long. Desert Island Synth
I have 40 or 50 iOS synths and if i had to delete all but one, this is the one I’d keep. I’m really inspired by its uniqueness in a field of so many same old same old synths. Show more

    The Tops
I own nearly all of the premium iOS synths. I get more enjoyment out of Nave than any of them. I'm not saying that it's the best. It's a resource hog. There could be more modulation routings. It's not perfectly stable. However, this wave table synth allows you to make some very animated and expressive patches that are very usable in a studio environment. When it comes to sound design, I think this is the most delightful synth app on the iOS platform. Great UI, great sound, and great value. This app has made me dream of a Waldorf hardware synth. I might buy a Blofeld soon. Show more

    Wow this synth sounds great!
I would love to see preset pacs!

    Amazing synth
I love this synth, now if I can only get it to work as a plug in in all my other music apps. Some do while others don't not sure who's at fault. Best synth hands down for iPad and blows away many other dest top synths. Show more

    Awesome App
Thank you so much Waldorf for keeping this app updated! It's such a great and powerful iOS Synth that is very user friendly! Very much appreciated !

    Sonic beast.
I own an ableton setup full of software synths and some hardware. I have had more use and fun out of nave than software synths I paid $200 for. It is a completely unique synth that once you wrap your head around is a complete joy to design patches in. Wave table synthesis way not be for everyone but it is for me. The midi implementation to this synth is perfect. I sequence the synth via ableton live by connecting the ipad with an apple certified camera connection kit and a cheap usb to midi cable. It sends the data flawlessly. The clock syncs very well to external sources. I really do recommend nave to anyone looking for a unique synthesis experience. Take some time to learn your way around it and you will be designing fat bass, crispy leads, lush pads and evolving textures. Show more

    Awesome Synthesizer app from Waldorf!
This app is so cool. Has such a variety of sounds and it's perfect for a synth enthusiast! A+ rate from me!
  • Stringy_D, 23.07.2014
I was expecting more I guess
This synth ended up not exciting me that much despite all the hype that made me buy it. Just being honest.
