Update: I never heard back from Waldorf support, I was able to reproduce this distortion/clipping which makes the filter unusable. Just got a refund from Apple. I really like the sounds of this synth, obviously except for the undesirable distortion and un-usability of the main filter. Sad day. I'm using this app on an iPad Air. I like this app but it's pretty useless when it's clipping and distorting when I enable the LP filter. Simply having the filter enabled is causing the sounds to have an unpleasant distortion. I've tried everything I can think of including turning down the volume at all gain stages, making sure the compressor is off (support said the audio sample I sent sounded like a compressor issue), and making sure I wasn't hitting the voice limit. The only thing that causes the distortion is having the filter active, which means I can have a filter or an undistorted sound. Currently looking into requesting a refund for this app. Show more

Nave is an absolute joy to use. I recently picked up an iPad and was going to hold off getting Nave until it was on sale to pick it up, but got it at full price because I couldn't wait any longer. Don't regret it one minute! Totally worth it at even twice the price! Only feature I wish was implemented was a switch to turn off velocity to amplitude, rather than using one of the four mod slots to overcome this. I normally use velocity for timbre changes and not amplitude. I want to have the full mod slots available for a base patch. Either a switch for turning it on/off, or, a knob like the filter envelope velocity amount. Show more

Crashes a lot! Gets frustrating when you spend half an hour making a patch then it crashes for no reason! Other than that it's great!

AMAZING and stooped cool app. Nothing else sounds like this. I can get lost for hours manipulating this thing. Can’t wait to see what else Waldorf comes up with for iPads. VERY cool! Run…don’t walk…. and get this. NOW! Show more

Simply gnarly.

This synth breaks some new ground on ios as far as the visual controls you have over the wavetable. Requires some dedication to unlock its potential but man is it worth it. From ambient lush tones to fat bass and leads, this thing can do a whole lot. Worth every penny. Show more

Like mentioned by someone else: this app CRASHES more often than I would like from a $20 app!! Still waiting for an update to fix this!!

...if it wasn't so unstable on newer devices(don't have anything older to try it on). Even with all other apps closed out. What a rip off!! Your app is almost as bad as Sugarbytes' Apps. Maybe Waldorf should talk to other devs who've made apps that simply work like yamaha(tenori on), korg (iElectribe, iKaossilator) Native Instruments(iMaschine) or Liine(Lemur). I will continue to update my review to combat the paid-for, circle-jerk reviews until you get this thing working properly or until you offer refunds to those who got duped by you. Show more

Just not as great sounding as the Sunrizer synth by BeepStreet which costs about half the price of this one. I will give this synth credit, however, in the amount of adjustable parameters available. Show more

I love nave. Get it if you want that Waldorf sound. It's so easy to use. Load your own wav and go!
