    Just buy it.
I got this as a tool to write music while I’m away from my guitars, and wow does it deliver. Be prepared for the long (but awesome) tutorials. There’s so much to this app it’s amazing. I haven’t even scratched the surface of what this thing will do but I’m excited to find out what else hidden. Well done guys!!! Ps maybe add an 8 string guitar setting? ? Show more

    Great support for tunings
Thank you for this music writer for guitar tab that supports tunings. But I fail to see where it will change the entered notes when updating to a different tuning. What am I missing? Where is your support line? How are we to communicate? Mark Show more

    It’s okay
It’s not bad, fun to mess with, I don’t know if there are options for pinch harmonics, vibrato, different types of rest marks, and the playback sustain last way too long to reviewing a section with clarity. I’m new to the app so maybe I just need to mess with it more but that’s my review. Show more

    Great composition tool for guitarists
I use this for fingerstyle acoustic guitar composition. It allows me to work on ideas that I wouldn’t have tried composing with the guitar. It has alternate tunings which allows for even more experiments. The audio playback sounds good too. Show more

    Very Useful
I use it to get ideas down and develop them more. Also helpful for trying to learn songs that don’t already have tabs by ear (sort of). Needs a couple of extra features but good platform overall. Show more

    Great replacement for tab-it
Update: I wasn’t aware that there already is a rewind function. Thanks to the developer for the response! I was an avid Tab-it user while on PC. I decided to start using GarageBand and my new IPad for recording. I couldn’t find anything similar to Tab-it to tab out my music as I was recording. This fits my needs very nicely. With that being said I would love to see a few things: 1. The ability to rewind back to the beginning of my tab with a “back to beginning” button. 2. The ability to separate sections with either a vertical bar or something like that. 3. I wish there was a text bar option above the track to label the sections (Verse, Chorus, etc). Show more

    Unbelievable. Best musical app ever.
I’ve used some tab apps in my past but this is BUY FAR the best experience I’ve had. I’ve always wanted to write music, now I can!

5/10 You get what you pay for.
Input is simple and quick which I appreciate. I have exclusively used the tab editing mode so far as that's all I need. Metalcore tone is not great but I'll live. EQ lets me at least make it listenable so that's cool. Missing some features such as rakes and harmonics. Also doesn't tune lower than drop A on 7 string. 8 string and lower isn't achievable within the app. There are also no triplets. Ouch. It's not enough to substitute for a guitar, but it's close enough when you don't have one at hand. For ten bucks it's not bad, especially when there are no better choices for iOS, but not great either. You add triplets, rakes and pinch harmonics, and you get five stars. Show more

    Trip-a-let
Amazing app to say the least. But I would love to see the ability to notate trip-a-lets. Other than that, I have no complaints
