    Horrible
I wouldn't recommend downloading this app at all. It was a waste of time. What's with all the shuddering noises? I mean this is absolutely a disappointment. Even if its a free version. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. Show more

    I'm Glad It's Free
I'll start by saying this is a free app and the preliminary version (1.0), so I didn't have high expectations. Good thing. The interface is handsome and simple, but that's about the only positive thing I can say about the app. The organ sound that comes loaded by default is pretty awful. I can only assume it's trying to emulate the Hammond B3, but it sounds more like a softly looping jackhammer. The controls are very minimal, so there's no way to adjust the rate or depth of the vibrato, and the samples have an annoying click between cycles. What's worse, I've found (on the iPhone 5, at least) that playing a few keys quickly at once or in sequence can cause the loop to sustain indefinitely. The only way to get it to stop is to close the app and terminate it completely by double-clicking the home button and x'ing out. As for the other sounds, the screen shots shown in the iTunes App Store are a bit misleading: Grand Piano and 1970s Electro Synth are available (at this time) as $0.99 in-app purchases only. If the Organ patch is any indication of the other patches' quality, I'm steering way clear. If this app could be used as a MIDI controller for other apps, it would be worth the money, but it doesn't even do that. Let's hope the developer incorporates enough fixes and enhancements to make those in-app purchases worth my while. As of now, it just takes up disk space. Show more
