I absolutely love this app! Very inspiring!

Another owner of the original Beethoven 9 app. Found a major bug in the app and contacted support. Was told touchpress no longer owned the app and to contact Amphio. Did so, and It’s been almost two weeks with no reply! Do not buy this app as the new company obviously does not care about support, which is a shame as the app itself use to work perfectly and was pure joy! Show more

Twice I have tried to download the full score (this is an add-on) and all that I get is the spinning gear of death. I guess I will request a refund when I receive the charge from Apple. I would rate this as a no-star if I could. Show more

Customers who bought the paid app which is no longer supported were supposed to be migrated to this app. It is nice to see such an offer but the developers don’t seem to honour it. I tried to contact the developers multiple times over the past months but have not received any reply. Perhaps this review will make them listen? Show more

I think The Furtwangler’s great addition can be included in your app.

Others have described the app very well. I'll just add that it's worth far more than it costs, in my opinion, and I'm hoping we can see/hear other great works receiving the same treatment. Show more

Astonishingly clever. For anyone who loves the 9th., the app is a delight. For any student of classical music the app is essential. It reveals the genius in the music; it lets the average person understand the music in new ways. With high-quality headphones (I use Bose noise-cancelling h-phones) it's rapturous. Show more

21-July update of 1-March-2017 review: despite email contact, still NO ACCESS TO CURRENT VERSION --- disgraceful. I purchased Beethoven’s 9th Symphony: full edition for my iPad on 2013-Nov-29. (version 1.2.1 is in my iTunesMedia/Mobile Applications folder). Within iTunes, developer's note for release of version 2.0.4 of the Beethoven’s 9th Symphony app states "If you previously purchased the full version of the app, please get in touch with us for access to this version." The support link on that page is broken. Four messages (website, direct email) to vendor have received no response. An overnight download of the 2GB current 2-minute DEMO and installation on my iPod will show a RESTORE PURCHASES button --- does not work. Show more

I haven't had any technical problems with the app and it is an incredible use of the iPad. Well done!

Like other reviewers, I purchased the full version long ago, but it no longer works and I am only able to access the demo.

Great app. I hope that it gets updated for the new 64 bit iOS and new iPads.

It would be very simple to explain in the description that this is a two minute demo. That would save us the hassle of making space for and downloading an app over a gigabyte in size. Show more

This lovely app, contains four perfect interpretations of that towering work of art that is the ninth symphony of Ludwig Von Beethoven. That would be worth twice the price but included are scores, notes, phrase by phrase comments that take you through the music like your sitting with a major conductor. If you are a lover of classical music this is an immersive experience. Worth the money.

Due to a known apple itunes bug, I am unable to consistently download to install your app update. I have been waiting 6 weeks for a fix from Apple. Thought you should be aware of Apple hindering your hard work. ==== Developer, Subscription model: I don’t like over paying for an app over and over again. I don’t want to spend 50.00 a month (for 20 apps) to use needed apps. My budget will not allow it. Basically I will be "buying" an app for big bucks over time instead of a reasonable fee one time fee which I could save up or stagger buying over time. Many app store users are on limited income/SSI/SNAP. Allow me to prepay a year or still offer a one time cost for several years at a reasonable price. If you lock out my already paid for App; I will fight you. I will not be abused. Show more

I have more than 400 apps on my iPad, and this one takes up the second largest amount of space of any of them. For an app that I only very occasionally use, that is unacceptable, so I will reluctantly delete it as soon as I write this review. The developers need to find a way to compress this app so that it is not so space greedy. If that happens, I would like to download it again. Oh, and the extreme space usage is with the free version. I can only imagine if I had the paid upgrade. Show more

I give this full five start. It shows the score used and it shows the placings of the instruments used and highlights when they are playing. One of the best!
