I love this instrument. I love the way you can combine the sounds. I love the tape noise. Thanks for adding audiobus and MIDI support! Now I can really make music with this app!!! Can you please simplify the interface a bit by adding the tape selector switch to the main menu alongside the volume and pitch? Then it would be close to perfect! Find a way to add more tape samples and some of the old rhythms and grooves and it would be perfect! Please keep supporting this app. I LOVE it!!! Show more

I LOVE this app! I know being able to adjust the tuning might not be in keeping with the features of the original instrument, but it would really help in making it useable in a variety of settings. Add a fine-tuning feature and it's perfect! Show more

App could be better in looks and function but can't really complain with audiobus.

I love the sound of Mellotrons and the overall vibe of them. This app does a great job of capturing both. BUT, the whole instrument is out of tune. Each key is sharp by 20-30 cents. The app is unusable as it is. Show more

Audiobus support and midi made me finally get this app. You need to set the midi app to transmit its midi as there's no way to configure the virtual midi in Super Manetron. Very straight forward interface but you might want to look at the video tutorials first. Show more

This has some great sounds in it once you figure out the use of the UI. I can clearly hear the sounds from "Strawberry Fields", "Kashmir", lots of Yes songs and more from back in the days. Well worth the price of admission. The developer did a good job of capturing the instrument. Show more

This thing has more personality than some people I know. I feel guilty playing it, knowing how impossible it would be to own the real deal.

Now with MIDI implementation, Audiobus support, multiple ways to change tweak (within the app, even before you connect it to other apps), and set up the sound, with very user-friendly control interface, and for those geeks like me who like to explore retro tech, the option to both see & hear the workings of a real Mellotron, this app finally reaches 5 star status. And/or above. The developers put a lot of love into this app.The built into it some of the imperfections of a real mellotron. For instance, some of the notes waver out of tune, or have glitches in them just like a real strip of tape might have in a physical Mellotron. I can see how this kind of thing, along with some of the skeuomorphic elements that are in the interface, might not be everyone's cup of tea. But it certainly is mine. I just think it's so cool. With seven different sounds, and three banks on each frame, plus the ability to change which sound is in which position on either frame, this is the perfect iPad Mellotron now. And you can even set the ABC control, to be in between two sounds in order to blend them. How cool is that? And including sounds like vibes, and oboe, two sounds that one doesn't necessarily associate with a mellotron, was a very innovative and gutsy choice. Since it now fits into the input slot on the Audiobus, the fact that it also includes reverb, a tone control, and a volume control for the mechanical sounds (which everyone should note can be turned off by pushing the red button on the first screen so that the light is off. This controls all of the mechanical sounds, including the background noise of the motor. If you don't want that you just make sure that that button is in the off position), are all icing on the cake. I do agree that it would nice to be able to tune it, but it works fine for me right now. I love being able to put it on the Audiobus, with Soundprism Pro's MIDI controlling it. Works "right out of the box". And I haven't even begun to pair it with various things in the effects slot, or output slot. The possibilities are dizzying. In this update, this app went from being an interesting toy and sound which I liked, to being a great musical tool for performing and recording, which I now love. Highly recommended. Show more

I plugged a line 6 mobile keys and it this app doesn't play. All my other apps work fine. This one has no midi settings and no support site. I want my money back. Show more

The sounds are great. Needs MIDI/Record/Export/Copy/Paste/Audiobus etc. More stars pending update.

Love this but when I choose "strings" I get no sound

All you need to fix this and make it a worthwhile purchase is to tune the samples! Things are sounding pretty gnarly when played alongside finely tuned instruments. I'd love to use it on the road this summer with our band! Show more

Tremendous !!!!! At last midi !! People upset about the noise should note the red on/ off switch is just the noise switch. For quiet mellotron work just don't turn it "on". Show more

You guys promised us some audiobus connectivity. We bought your app based on that promise and we are still waiting. Get on the bus, Gus!

I noticed that the overall tuning of this app is not quite right, thus making it impossible to use live with a band unless you expect all other players to have to tune to the app- while there is a pitch control, it's not one where you can use it to adjust the tuning and keep it... It's simply for bending the notes. Overall, I would be the biggest booster of this app on earth, but for this issue... Unless I am missing something? Please, please, please allow for the pitch to be adjustable on the next revision (not just a knob for bending). Or someone let me know if its just me! Show more
