I’ve been using this App for a long time and it has served me well. I would recommend it.

I tried an mp4 converter and the file size was the same even with a smaller resolution. I tried an iOS compressor but it kept the .mov format and compressed from 26.5 MB to 1280 x 720 with 7.9 MBs. I used iSkysoft’s converter on my Mac and it took the same original video to an MP4 (H264) at 1280 x 720 and it came out to the file size of 3.6 MBs. Now we are talking! I also love the way I can do do batch compressions with the saved format configuration. To me it is fast, but my videos are short and my computer is new. Fast and easy! Love it! The only problem I had was losing the default vertical viewing position for some of my videos. Since I view them on my iPad, I just lock the rotation. I take ballroom and record the steps for myself & others. I just record everything in a horizontal format now. Wonderful app! You will not be disappointed! Show more

I like this appliction but there are two things that I wasn’t overly fond of. First is the speed. It's advertised as only taking “five minutes” but its more like 10-15 minutes. Also, Upon downloading it, there wasn’t any instructions or anything for me to figure it out. I had to just “fiddle” until I figured out what I needed to do. Maybe there were instructions and I just missed them, I dont know?? But other than those 2 things, I got it to work and have converted a few of my movies. Show more

I’ve had the ISkysoft Media Conversiion software for a few days. I’v converted three movies from DVD to MP4. The conversion process is not instantaneous, but it is fast enough. If there are subtitles, then you need to chreck an option to record and convert the subtitles. I have not yet viewed any of the converted movies. There are ,apparently, no instructions included with the software. This might be a minor gripe because the software is almost automatic. All things considered, It appears to be a good purchase. BUT it really needs to update it’s interface to work on retina displays! Both of my Macs have retina displays so the interface looks super pixelated. Retina has been out for quite a while now so it’s time to adopt this standard. I love how it lets me link video files together so I don’t have tons of small video files to bring into iMovie. This app was very good but now its absolutely no good at all. I don’t know why but it seems that all the video apps I buy on the apple store fail after a few months. (3 apps I purchased so far) This app will no longer convert anything. Show more

Instructions are easy enough to follow, and I was able to convert some old family VCR tapes to iMovies.

I love this app! It does everything I need it to do. My only issue is time. It does take a little time, however, I am a patient person.

I really wish this app would be updated to support CUDA GPU video encoding it makes the process so much faster almost 66% faster in some cases. Please update this to support CUDA GPU accelerated encoding! Show more

I followed the instructions to crop a movie, but all I got was in the wrong aspect ratio or unchanged. The coder(s) for this app should think seriously about making the user interface useable. Show more

It is a versatile application to manipulate videos, however it advertise that will convert a 2 hour movie in “just 5 minutes”, well after converting four movies averaging 1 and 1/2 hours in length, the average conversion time was 40 minutes. I have other applications that can do the same conversion in the same amount of time for free. Show more

So far I’ve used this app as a converter, a downloader, an on-the-fly editor and a few other chores. This is one of those apps that you might purchase for one use, but then discover that there’s so much more under the hood. I’m very happy with it and thought it was well worth the purchase price. This is great at getting old and new files converted to what I need. It is also very straight forward. The software allows you to customize the conversion and save it. Well worth the money. Show more

just bought this & my first attempt to convert a simple MPEG4 to MOV video failed what a waste of money

As stated, gets the job done, plain and simple, only one complaint is that the user interface looks like something from windows xp and really disappointing considering the price. the dark theme is great, and just a suggestion when choosing a file format, have a button that removes the icons or make the icons inline with the dark colours and to give it a more professional feel, And all icons more HD.
