Please fix your apps. The only thing they do consistently is crash...without fail. I could understand if I was using an older device, but I'm not. They are ALL unstable, buggy hunks of overpriced crap that crash before their potential is realized. Until you do, not only will I continue to write scathing reviews of your products, I also make it a point to reference how bad your apps DO NOT WORK in every app I review from other developers. It is criminal to charge this much for a product that doesn't work. I will continue to update my review to combat the paid-for, circle-jerk reviews until you get this thing working properly or until you offer refunds to those who got duped by you. Show more

Turnado by far is the best filter app on iOS! 8 different filters at the same time! Awesome! We don't need another 9th filter slider for our nose so please take a good vacation lol Would it be possible to put a reverse feature for the right hand pads so that the starting point is the base of the thumb and the filter increases as you go away from the thumb. Then it would be the same action for both left and right hand and the user could keep the control panel display on because the thumbs x,y movements would merely outline the panel box. Also possibly making the opacity of the control panel partially see through. Also save user setting would be nice. Turnado crashed once at the file load screen from iPod library and then all my settings were gone. Show more

This app is a must have--simultaneously simple and complex, easy to use but so, soooo deep. Currently, I'm using it with my MPC1000 to resample beats that I make with the box, and it has really put a lot more fun into beat making. Currently, I'm not using a desktop at all, and I'm loving it! Don't stress out about the price-- this app is worth it and then some. Highly recommended. Show more

This app has been incredible for producing new sounds. The intuitive interface makes it easy to control and dj the sound. There are some interface tweeks that could be done to make it more iPad mini friendly due to some of the small interface buttons. Show more

This app is ridiculously capable! I have only used the factory settings and patches, but it sounds terrific! I finally opened one of the effects settings and holy cow, that is a lot of parameters, you'll be immersed for weeks, maybe months, before you'll be able to fully exploit the capabilities. Never seen anything as complex as this, hopefully can make everything you ask it to. For now, I find it capable and useful and will review again once I successfully integrate it in my studio. Power corrupts, as this app is easily able to completely demolish your source sounds with absolutely no mercy. If used wisely though, you can pull off some ridiculously amazing contortions and transformations as well as some sweetly subtle accents all at once. Audiopaste makes this an effective production sampler a on top of being an amazing effects processor. It will take some time to explore the seemingly limitless musical landscapes this magical monster can reveal to you. Be very careful before taking it public in your performances or risk it bursting into a sonic rampage. Show more

Absolutely stunning app, well worth the cost for anyone interested in real-time audio effects. It's awesome enough just playing with the surface controls, assigning effects to the different X-Y pads. But when dig deeper and see the ways you can customize each effect, your jaw will drop in amazement. A flagship music app for the iPad. Show more

crashes on saving presets

This is an exact port of the desktop version and the functionality is the same. Considering you can map the desktop version to a program like Lemur or TouchOSC, the functionality is basically exactly the same, I wouldn't recommend purchasing it for use on the iPad 1st Generation because processing is not great and it will frustrate you with crashes on a consistent basis. But it's great for the A5 chip and above, and it works like a dream with Audiobus! If you are looking for the ultimate effects processor on the iPad. You can stop looking! Show more

I don't know what this developer did but I can no longer see the icon for Turnado on my iPad. When I do a search it says it's in a folder called "Top Hit". I don't have such a folder. Deleting till their app installs correctly. Wasted $20? Show more

Ditched my beloved ableton and became an ipad musician when my laptop died. but missed beat repeat, auto filter, resonator, and the all the beautiful plug ins. This does it all, just have to be ginger to get the more subtle effects. Used it with audio bus running Sunrizer and samplr, in addition to line in for my guitar, and as a standalone. My ipad 2 is handling turnado without any clipping, zipping, or crashing. I send audio to my looper pedals, so I don't know how well it handles recording audio on top of everything else it's doing. Wonderful effects processing tool with Audiobus and MIDI integration. It will work wonders on whatever input source you choose. Another essential tool for the iPad musician!

Update works great. I needed to delete it and reinstall in order to have presets working properly. Now that it does, it's SHRED CITY! Holy moly this app is deep, powerful, and can get just plain stupid. Absolute sonic destruction. Show more

This app is great, from the effects to the design, but unfortunately it has extreme cracks and skips as the music plays which makes it useless for Dj and studio use or anything, I even increased the audio buffer to its max 512 samples and the crackles and skips still show up,, if they fix this problem I would give this app a 5 star, until then it's useless. They really nailed it with this. I hope Sugar Bytes continues to develop for the iPad, because this is one hell of a first try! It's every bit as awesome as their plug-ins, actually better, due to the hands-on control. My only caveat is that my iPad 2 has a *slightly* hard time running it. It works fine, actually, but many FX combinations don't work (even at the highest buffer setting). It's not a problem, though, because the app is so deep and so well-equipped that I can still spend hours with it. I think I'm actually going to spring for a new iPad soon, just so I can use Turnado to its fullest extent. That's how good it is. Show more

LANDSCAPE MODE! With this crucial update, Turnado is the Animoog of FX processors on the iPad. As Steve would say INSANELY GREAT.

Now with landscape mode, it is perfect. Real deep editing, makes this a must=have for your audio arsenal.
