Can we please get the party up feature working? It is always constantly breaking up and it is nearly impossible to use.

Glitchy when you have multiple speakers going, not happy at all with the app

When it works it works great. The functionality of how to start party-up is fine. But about a 3rd of the time it doesn’t work and it always takes more effort than it should because I can’t trust it’s going to work. Show more

Software App does not work reliably. Works 1 out of 20 attempts

I’m having trouble pairing this device to my iPhone. It paired once then disconnected. I deleted the app then forgot the device and started all the way over. When I re downloaded the app there was no way for me to add the music back on to playlist through the app. It didn’t give me the option from the Home Screen. I tried to return this device. I could not. Now I have another shelf ornament. Show more

PartyUp mode won’t let me pair two at a time. I try dragging my second one into play and it just doesn’t connect. They’re both on and paired through Bluetooth but for some reason the app won’t let me pair both to play simultaneously… annoyed and frustrated since they’re both brand new out of the box. Show more

The mini boom isn’t even listed as a choice when trying to connect to the app. The app is important to me because it can monitor the state of battery charge, among other things. Was the reason I purchased this speaker over other choices. Never again… Show more

Update is long overdue

This app does not support Megablast. It refers you to their other Meganlast app but that app cannot be installed on new versions of IOS. Frustrating that they won’t support older products. I don’t expect feature improvements, I just want to be able to use my perfectly good Megablast. Show more

My UE megaboom firmware, is V.2.4.16 and it’s has glitches, and sound issues, and bugs as well that needs to be fixed with an newer firmware immediately, and for the App the Party UP feature is also very Glitchy, like when I use it, sometimes the Sound doesn’t come out of both Megabooms, or doesn’t work at all, that should be also updated too. The only app I use for music is spotify and I can’t even use the one touch playlist feature with my iPad. Works with my galaxy, but I am really disappointed/annoyed its not the same for apple products. Why cant i just do both?? Tired of apple’s apps/devices always being steps behind Samsung. Besides that the app works just fine. Just add spotify and I would give it 5. (Love the speaker tho! Boom 3, but that’s not what I’m reviewing here. Just an fyi lol) Show more

I have two megaboom 3 speakers. Both within five feet of my iPhone XS Max. Party up mode just will not stay connected. App shows both speakers connected, blue tooth shows both connected but party up mode says one speaker doesn’t exist. Both speakers work by themselves but just won’t stay connected in party up. Boo. Fix the app! Show more

5 stars for Android, but barely 2 stars for iPhone. I’ve been using this app and 2 speakers for 2+ years. Incredible high sound quality and affordable. Plus they are genuinely rugged water resistant speakers. These have been dropped on concrete, played for many hours of summer sun and have even fallen into the swimming pool a few times. They still sound great. Even after more than 2 years I can play them for 10+ hours on a single charge. The app tells you the battery level and let’s you pair up speakers in stereo and mix the balance. However, I just switched from an Android phone to an iPhone. I was disappointed to learn how poorly the iPhone works with my favorite speakers. The iPhone app version cannot detect battery level. The iPhone can only connect to a single speaker at a time, not multiple speakers. Show more

I can’t for the life of me figure out how to get the app to recognize that my phone is connected to my speaker so that I can use the remote control feature. It used to be my favorite feature because I found it convenient and now the stupid app won’t work!!! FIX THIS. Show more

I own two Boom 2s and a Mega 3. They all work well individually but trying to connect them in PartyUp mode is rarely successful — maybe 20% of the time. Hard to believe in this day and age it is technologically challenging, but UE definitely hasn’t cracked it. Will start looking for a replacement system. Show more

Speaker is great. App for the speaker great

I can connect my boom 3 to my iPhone but the app shows no connection and will not work at all.

It’s a shame that the decent sound and appearance of these speakers is RUINED by the glitchy app. In party up one speaker will suddenly decide to go AWOL, randomly. I want to listen to my programming, not constantly re-pair the speakers. Put out an updated app that resolves the issues, Ultimate Ears, you are dropping the ball, big time. Show more

Es muy molesto que la bocina se apaga y enciende frecuentemente, especialmente cuando uso YouTube: la imagen se freezes y el audio se pierde. No la recomiendo.

Love my speaker but - My phone is playing music on my UE Boom but app is saying the speaker is off and won’t reflect that my device is connected.
