As you learned from your battery incident, you can’t stop this app from running on a IPad mini 2, when it’s processor is as good and capable as the iPad mini 3....you should allow retrograde downloads that work, not mislead us in a loop or update. Finally, the iPad mini 2 uses a 64 bit albeit slower processor so there was no reason to render this obsolete. Your now unethical like google and the rest of big tech that subverts within the boundaries of uninterpretable terms for legislators, until you finally get a lawsuit forcing you to give “free batteries.” That repayment itself proved their ineptitude with digital goods and you got away with it. Well, if you don’t get caught again with stopping updates due to the new macOS or whatever the case may be, I’ll tell you two things: our Apple household/family that owns and uses over 15 Apple devices will convert to Samsung/android as soon as our devices are deemed inferior for your coding, which only has slightly changed in your proprietary favor with the m1...we know what we’re talking about, and if I didn’t have a newer processor on my iPhone I wouldn’t have access to this app. Partially why I bought it is for iPad mini 2 to run the logic remote so 1 star for your company Tim Rice! You were great at first when Jobs ideas and influence still ran Apple, but when you took over, you changed everything. Logic Pro stopped on my phone suddenly, cause I am not running IOS 14 or later, it sad to feel this way without having this application installed in my phone which runs iOS 12.5.5, One star shouldn’t be giving cause it hurt. Show more

This app would be great on if it WORK on my iPad but unfortunately it doesn’t and it only works on my iPhone XR. Please fix the app. I would love to use it on my iPad for more screen real estate. Show more

This app is great BUT!!! By now we should have some type of full version of Logic Pro x for iPad to use when we are away from our macs. We should be able to create or edit sessions remotely. There has to be a way please make it happen. If GarageBand has a version logic needs it as well Show more

It’s really useful when working but like all things with apple, don’t expect much unless you’re on new hardware and latest software. Doesn’t really work otherwise.

I’ve tried several methods to establish a connection with Logic Pro and nothing works. Apple support documentation does not help. I suppose like many other people I have a backwards compatibility issue. Very disappointing and not what I expected from Apple. Show more

I’ve tried pairing with my iPhone and my iPad to my mac. All devices are brand new and the latest models.

The newest M1 iPad could easily run Logic Pro…. but instead we get this productivity killer that always frustrates and leaves you wishing Apple would lust come out with Logic Pro for the iPad…. which it could easily run with the new M1 chip! Did I mention that?!! Show more

The app has worked great so far and I have not had a single issue with it. I’m just writing saying that in order to take full advantage of the Logic Remote, there should be a more similar interface in some things as the OS version. Most specifically, when opening plugins for things like synthesizers and adjusting the advanced controls. This may be impossible to do with 3rd party plugins, but should definitely be a feature with the plugins that do come with logic. Right now when opening a plugin, you have to scroll through several pages of parameters when the whole plugin interface could fit on the screen. The will greatly facilitate and improve use of things such as the latch automation feature and will truly make Logic Remote just as powerful as any physical synth connected to a project. Show more

Used to work now just crashes on opening...

I love this app, or at least the concept of it. It crashes often, causing me to have to shut down Logic Pro completely, then reboot it. However, I have to open the Remote app FIRST, then reopen Logic. Please fix this. Show more

As a former user of Logic Pro 9, bough & used for few months, than logicpro10 came out but no way to use the previous format ! So I was afraid to go to the new version logic, will it be a waisted money again ? Be responsible please Apple ?!. Unless Will it be a possible credit of some sort ? with the new version? Thanks. is ipad pro that bad it cant run normal logic...???

I been an logic user since Logic Pro 7 and I must say we’ve come a long way. I’m aware their are quite a bit of concerns on the back end logic of the logic remote, yet I’m not here to speak on it at this time. As a songwriter I find this tool extremely helpful , especially when your recording yourself and want to eliminate the back and forth to the control room - I was wondering if by chance you can integrate the notepad project and track functions on the app - this helps with documenting lyrics and calling out those specifics for the mixer per track - it be nice to never have to leave the booth - it also would be nice not to have to go back and forth between the notepad app - idk, maybe similarly to the way the audio recording (voice memo) has been ended to logic - is it possible to tag notepad notes the a session? Just throwing out ideas - I myself am just a novice developer but I’m sure you guys can figure it out. I’d love to hear back - this would be a game changer for us songwriters in the industry Show more

I have a new iPhone 12 mini and new MacBook Pro 2021 So I can’t logic Pro remote work when I connect to the lightning cable? My Wi-Fi is not good in my recording area and I do a lot of self production so I’m very annoyed and I lost my ability to use the remote! Hopefully with the Wi-Fi extender a mesh system I’ll have it up and running Show more

Nice program but, why waist time with a remote for Logic and not to make Logic for IPad, that’s what we really need.

I totally agree! This where PC shines update the OS in PC you still can use 10 year old software what more can you ask for. I believe it’s a way to sell more newer version of Mac many may agree while time is tight right now most can’t rush out to apple store and by a new Mac every 3 years. If your Mac is nearly outdated in 3 to 5 years maybe I need to start thinking about a Microsoft surface pro. Show more

There is no reason why you should put a barrier between your users actually using this app with a newer version of Logic Pro X when we have an older version of your iPad. You arbitrarily gate access to force people to purchase newer versions of your products which is just trashy of you. I spent $4000 on a new iMac but because I didn't spend an additional thousand dollars to get your new iPad I can't use Logic Remote anymore. Apple really has gone downhill since the days of Steve Jobs. I regret ever giving you my money. Show more
