    Doesn’t work.
With each channel I tried, I received error message, Something went wrong.

    WTH happened?
The new update is just horrible. The buttons and links are so tiny. The design seems very amateurish and very clunky. I’m even having a hard time getting the music to play on certain settings. This update unfortunately disappoints me. I was hoping for a more user friendly environment. Show more

    Awesome app update
The app feels much more modern with the new update, and it’s easier to find the music I’m looking for. Excited to see how the app continues to improve!

rating is not an application, because the idea is great!

    This stuff works!
I definitely can get more tedious tasks done listening to the focus app. I also find that I forget less when switching tasks.

    The heck
I don’t write reviews often but 50 dollars is ridiculous. Thanks.

    Was 5 stars. Now it’s 3.
This app was fantastic! Loved the Focus Spa and also the classical music option and I truly feel that it helped me to focus and therefore assisted in increasing my productivity. It was GREAT! I have recommended it to others. Now that the focus spa has been removed along with the classical music option and it now has channels titled, “Hypnotic Dance”, “Trance” and “Propeller Drone”, I don’t care for any of the channels. Even the names seem “cultish” or at best like it’s striving to hypnotize its listeners. I no longer feel focused while using it and I find the random noises included to be more distracting than helpful. I loved this app for a long time and now I’m no longer a fan of this app and have cancelled my subscription. Show more

    Focus
I just played zen piano and it is fabulous. I was doing some unpleasant paper work and found after playing this zen piano that my focus was on my work not on my displeasure. I played this music all evening enjoying every note, beat, and zen energy. Thank you for adding this to focus, looking forward to more additions!!! Show more

Too expensive for what it is and feels like I was tricked into a year long subscription
I really do like the app and do believe that the music helps me focus on tasks. However, like the most recent review, I felt completely swindled after realizing that I missed the chance (Forgetting things with ADHD is EXTREMELY common) to cancel my subscription and wound up paying for a subscription. You can imagine my shock when that was a $53/year subscription instead of a $3/week subscription like most other apps. Also what am I paying the $53 for?? The app has a lot to offer but it has much more to improve on before it starts changing people $53 a year in a pandemic where people have lost their jobs. Also it says in the description they’re offering half off subscriptions?? Does that mean this is actually a subscription that costs over $100? Or that I got charged the normal price when I should have been charged around $20? Either way that’s too much to pay for this app. I think you would have much more success if you made the app more affordable or offer a longer trial than 7 days. Like I said, the app itself is good but not for the price and the fact that they have probably made thousands of dollars prying on people like me with ADHD who will inevitably forget to cancel their subscription on time. Not cool!! I’ll continue to use the app until my subscription ends but I refuse to give the app 5 stars when it can be tricky to navigate, gets touchy, and costs more than most of the productivity apps in the App Store. Please reconsider your pricing tactics. Show more

    Way to swindle your customers
You say you want to help the ADD/ADHD people, yet you require people to sign up for a subscription first and give them 7 days free. Considering my ADD, I would miss the time to cancel the subscription and end up paying the 53 dollars for the year and be so astronomically ticked off that you did that to me. Once that message came up, I cancelled and deleted the app right away. How about giving 7 days free and then asking to sign up, may be better considering the audience you are targeting. Show more

Always helps me get the work done, every time I use it!
I’ve been using Focus @ Will for nearly two years. It totally works for me. All distractions and interruptions are diminished. The music is soothing when I need it. When needed, I switch up to a more motivated session; faster rhythm helps inspire me to kick up the effort. ;) Show more

    Great Tool for Deep Thinking
I have been using F@W for several years and am now working on my PhD, and despite having other music subscriptions which also contain focus-themed playlists, this app has still come out on top for ‘flattening out’ distractions and getting me in the zone when I have to slowly differentiate the details and integrate the big picture on challenging science/mathematical topics. In particular I have enjoyed the Ambient, Focus Spa and Alpha Chill channels, listed in order of preference for study subject difficulty (ambient for very abstract, ‘high resolution’ thinking). It has also been great to wake up and get the gears spinning to Focus Spa. I just subscribed for another year — highly recommended! Show more

    Continues to stop playing
Countless updates later and still having the same issues I’ve had back in July. Music stops half way through first song and silence is all that remains for the rest of the times duration. Show more

    Great for exercising
The updated Trance track is terrific as background exercise music. It really helps me get energy and stay motivated. Focus@will keeps me in a great mood. The photos that display in the background are gorgeous and breathtaking. I really love this app. I bought the lifetime membership because I love it so much. Show more

    It really works
I’ve been the type of person that listens to music to help focus for a long time. Research on the affect of music by neuroscientist like Dr. Daniel J. Livitin has fascinated me and had a huge impact on my life. I remember one of his studies talking about how music in the trance realm helps people get into and stay in a state of flow. However, for me, listening to the same music over and over can either lose its affect or become encoded with memories over time that can be distracting. This app is the perfect fix to that. I’m a huge fan of the Alpha Chill channel. But, I’m looking forward to exploring more of the options. Sometimes I prefer classical music or acoustic guitar and it even has stations for that. I would highly recommend this app/service to anyone. Show more

Unique and amazing tool for ADHD Focus!
This is an incredibly unique tool and I have found nothing like it! For my ADHD it helps assist me by getting in a focus zone and staying in that zone of focus. I’ve been a paying subscriber for years and I’d highly recommend it to anyone who would like to be more productive and efficient with their time. If you have an ADHD brain this service is a MUST HAVE! Enjoy! Show more

    Interesting glitch
So i was listening to the uptempo dance station (with an accompanying binaural app behind it) and once it got to the end of the song, it glitched out, producing a sound that was a drone like the propeller, but more crackly like static. It was wonderful. Perhaps you could add a station like this. Show more

This app helps me relax and focus. It was a very smart purchase for me.

    Noisy neighbors
The office next to mine has “loud talkers”. It is difficult to concentrate when they are on the phone. When they add background music it is even worse. Thank goodness I bought FOCUS. Show more

    I love it!!
I have the paid subscription and it’s worth it. I usually do 20 minute bursts and focus@will really keeps me focused especially when I’m reading. I have different channels that I switch between which I love and some I stay away from. It’s definitely improved my concentration. Show more
