Right around Christmas the app actually broke and won’t let you login at all, no matter how many times you change your password. The same username/password combo works on the website, but the app won’t work for some reason. If they don’t fix this then the app is ACTUALLY unusable, go to somewhere else. Show more

What is wrong with this app?? It constantly has server issues and doesn’t connect to the network, so I can’t access any of the songs in my catalogue. Even when they’re set to offline, the app freaks out as it tries to connect and reconnect - so listening to offline songs is a no-go too. Everything was fine at first, but then after a while this issue started and is now constant every time I open the app. It’s effectively useless. Defeats my whole purpose of using Songspace. I need a reliable way to store songs in one place and be able to pull them up at any moment to share. Songspace, please fix your app - I see others with this same issue from years ago. Please do something about it. Show more

Since updated, only getting lost network connection error message. Also, no support can be reached. What’s happened to Songspace??

Songspace is a great platform and a tremendous idea. The only issue is that it hasn’t worked very smoothly for me. In order for me to get the app to show me my catalogue (250+ songs) I have to delete it and re download it. Otherwise it will say no connection to server and hit me with an endless load screen. I haven’t quite figured out the pitching stuff as well as syncing with other publishers but it seems like the usefulness is there with everything it just isn’t quite ironed out yet. Show more

Love how Songspace works but this app is a bust.. only half the time or less, does the app actually load up the songs you’ve submitted to playback. I literally have to undownload and redownload just to pull the song up. Frustrating Show more

I’ve had to reload this app too many times to mention. Concept of Songspace is awesome. App…not so much

I love song space but I would love to see the pitch status of songs while on the mobile side too, especially who listened to the song and where. That was my main reason to pay the subscription in the first place ??‍♂️? everything else seems pretty great about the app, clean and not lagging. Show more

What they are trying to do with this app is outstanding I love it. But there are times where I hit play on a song, and it all of the sudden starts skipping to a bunch of different songs without even trying. Right now im not able to listen to a single song all the way through because it keeps skipping to the next one half way through it. Definitely a downer. Might have to go back to YouTube music and my own library until it works again. Show more

I was trying to use the app to write a song and it won’t let me scroll down to edit the page.

I looked at the subscription prices and I did not apply for any subscription which is a good thing.... if anyone likes to write poems, songs and other stuff.... I would stay away from this app and use ‘hum for songwriters’ or ‘progressions lyrics’ because ‘hum for songwriters’ and ‘progressions lyrics’ don’t require any silly subscription. Show more

I've been using Songspace for several years and have found it to be extremely useful in developing ideas and organizing my songs and ideas. You can create a link to share with others but keep control of it by only letting the user stream and not download and if you're uncomfortable with that link being out there too long you can disable it by making it private. It also has a great look to the person you're sending it too complete with lyrics. I do miss the big red Record button and hope you bring that back. I've recorded several ideas and developed them within the app and that was really convenient. My only complaint is when writing lyrics, at a certain point you can't see what you're writing and have to close the keyboard to see it and open the keyboard again and guess where you're typing. Also, when you just want to read the lyrics, the keyboard keeps popping up as you scroll down. Please fix that! Thanks for a great, useful app! Show more

This was one of my favorite apps until they removed the ability to actually sing and record on it for some reason. Now it’s useless. WHY SONGSPACE WHY? Now it’s so much harder to be a rising musical artist, as no other outlet let’s you record and read lyrics side-by-side. Show more

I wrote a song that I really loved on it and IT IS GONE!!!!! They DELETED ALL OF MY LYRICS!!! I don’t have a backup because I was just experimenting. What also is really annoying is that it stops at a certain place and the keyboard blocks all of the words. Every time I had to edit it I had to guess where I was at. Aight so technically you could just use the notes app but this acts like an iCloud which is very useful but a couple recommendations is being able to upload a beat to a song or at least on the desktop version, and also, if the writing paper was more zoomed out like how it is in Microsoft word would make it feel like the user is being less condensed and claustrophobic Show more

I have only good things to say. Suits me fine and keeps words and audio together. Recorder sounds great! It’s always with me and I have used it almost daily for @2 years now! I am still using the free version and it is just perfect for keeping my ideas organized. Never crashes! I don’t know what the negative comments are all about! There’s honestly not a better app out there, and Challey Legg and other folks in the office are hands on and really very helpful! Thank you, SongSpace! I’m going to reaffirm that this is a fantastic app. Those that say “It doesn’t work.” are wrong. It works great! Show more

Crashes for me every other time I play a song.

You can’t reorder songs in playlists, it doesn’t display your playlists in the order you set them. It keeps showing me a “Delete” button by default which is very easy to accidentally click on and is terrifying. I’m in love with Songspace but absolutely zero use for this app. Full redesign please.
