Frustrating that you can’t chronologically sequence episodes of a podcast downloaded out of sequence.

I’m encouraging my friends to use this app to listen to some very good podcasts.

The app is pretty easy to use once you familiarize yourself with it. I have only found difficulty in playing podcasts that I have listened to all the way through once. It took a while for me to realize that I needed to tap the “All Episodes” tab to find podcasts that I’d already begin to listen to. Even if I inadvertently tap an episode and it only plays for a second or two, it goes from “Unplayed Episodes” to “All Episodes.” Aside from that it’s a pretty good app. There is even a comment section where I have been able to communicate with the broadcasters. It’s also great to be able to download your favorite podcast episodes. Show more

I’ve been using it for a few years and very happy with the quality of sound, performance, and availability of what I like to listen to.

Excellent content, however the app is almost unusable - it crashes constantly, the few updates rolled out over the years change nothing, and many features simply don't - and never have - worked properly. And simply trying to share a link to an episode - weather they themselves have the app installed, or try to listen to it through the Podomatic website, do not work. Major fail - and not a one-time fail, like iPhone 4's 'antenna-gate' but instead a chronic, long-term fail. Show more

This is one of the best podcast apps I have ever used! I highly recommend it for any serious podcast listeners.

I don’t have this issue with Stitcher or Apple. This app is useless. It keeps me from listening to podcasts either on the site or offline. My phone works fine, I can use other similar apps so I work fine which means this app is terrible. Content creators are done a disservice by this useless thing. Show more

When you can access the podcasts it’s fine. The trouble is accessing them. I wish the ones I followed were on my home page when I opened the app. Then if I’ve listened to all of them and want to listen to an old one, they don’t show up in the page of the person I’m subscribed to. I can’t access them on the app. Pretty frustrating. Show more

I have been using and recommending PodOmatic for both listening to my podcasts (Dwell On Truth, Verse By Verse and Brenten Powers) and for my clients who started uploading their own (The Beatitudes People). The iOS app gets 5 stars is for the ability to subscribe and listen to to others. My only suggestion to PodOmatic is for another app for pro podcasters like me to have another app that has more of the functionality to publish and track our own podcasts via iOS, since right now I do that only through my desktop. Still, I’m thankful for what this app can do, so thank you and 5 stars! Show more
