Amazing app being left behind due to no Audio Units. Please Update this and Effectrix.

Wow is a great filter, but cumbersome if you want efficient daw function. I believe they are working on audio units for all of their existing and future products. Some of their other synths have recently been converted. Show more

Everything from Sugar Bytes is excellent. WOW is no exception.

I feel like I've only scratched the surface so far, but this app has some amazing sounds and presets right out of the box. Very tweakable, and, once purchased, also becomes available as a plugin inside of Auria. Bonus! Pick it up now while it's on sale! Show more

Used to love this app - it's really powerful and flexible - but the latest update has rendered it unusable. Hopefully they'll fix it soon.

Since your last compatibility update, the program doesn't open anymore. It goes to the splash screen, then crashes. Please fix this!

I'll give this app 5-stars despite the fact that I think Turnado (also from Sugar Bytes) is more versatile, and I have similar gripes about the small layout and unfriendly interface for iPad use. The good news is that there is a HUGE bank of presets and some very unique filter/distortion effects to modify the clean signal from your input. Reviewing an app like WOW is almost impossible because there is almost an infinite number of sounds you can get from it, but it can be pretty overwhelming for a new user. Still, the option to modify anything from a vintage synth note in Cassini to a clean guitar signal from JamUp/BIAS in the SAME app is pretty cool. Sugar Bytes apps are the only thing I've used the "Effects" slot in AudioBus for thus far. Show more

Thank you for the update. This app was previously unusable because of lag and instability issues. Though I still encounter some minor hiccups on some of the more processor intense settings, it is worlds better. I will come back and update the review on the apps merits once I've spent some time with it now that it is works!! Show more

I bought this app along with Thesys at the same time and have not dug in too deep. As far as I have seen and heard while noodling with it, is that it is very versatile and would be the one-stop shop for filtering duties. We'll see... Show more

Complex, simply amazing

So slow it's absolutely useless. Massive waste of cash.

How can it be that the whole world is not yet using this unicorn of an app? The possibilities for audio processing are forever and ever. This and Turnado are all you need to coax God out of any audio you feed it. Now I'm just waiting for Effectrix to come to the iPad. Show more

Another wonderful effects app from Sugar Bytes! After running some of my synth and guitar apps through this (via audiobus) I was very happy with the results and my purchase.
