    ok but slow
Works ok with some bugs , it doesnt recognized some mp3 files at first when dragged into it. Also is terribly slow on M1 Mac so needs optimization.

    Simple and saves time
I used this tool to change the volume of .aiff files and it just worked. Save so many headaches compared to other tools for .99¢ - it's a great deal.

    No ALAC support, no updates
this app has not been updated since it’s release in 2014. there is no support for lossless audio files. i also paid for this app and, instead of updating this app, the developer created a new app that performs the same functions, but of course they are charging for the new app. Show more

Used for a few years and no longer seems to be working
My mp3 files are edited first in Audacity, then processed by this app, and then uploaded. The volume is different across all files. I emailed the company and received no response. Show more

    Good But….
Recently purchased the app to average out about 500 songs to similar volumes, the app is very simple to use and does work very well… if it doesn’t crash. I’ve tried different ideas of drag and drop 100 songs. About half way through, it abruptly closes. I tried dropping 50 songs, 30 songs, down to 5. It will work on 5 at a time for a while, then just crash. I’ve tried drag and drop, cut and paste, adjusting the DB number etc. I like the app and when it works it’s very simple and good so I’m going to keep trying. One song at a time for 550 songs for a IPOD is gonna take a very long time. I’m using MacBook pro by the way. Maybe I should try it via Windows? Show more

    Crumby product
I needed to convert a number of Flac files to MP3 so I gave this program a try. In preferences it gives you the option to select 320kbps conversion for a quality file but it actually will only convert at 192. By the time I realized this I had already deleted a number of the original FLAC files and couldn’t retrieve them. Maybe it will convert at 320 if you buy the upgrade but save yourself the money and find Media Human converter online. It’s free and it works just like it says it does. Show more

    Crashes constantly during analyzing!!!
The first 3 times I used this it worked as it was designed. After that, it will import songs with no problem, but half way through analyzing the songs it will crash. I have tried 100 songs, 50 songs, 20 songs, my last few attempts I tried 10 SONGS!!! IT STILL CRASHED. A WASTE OF $7. e Tinysoft, Inc How about an update? Show more

Sure beats one-at-a-time normalization with Audacity, but...
…there appears to be a continuing problem with stability (OSX 10.10.4) I had over 2,000 songs to normalize. Based on the experiences of previous reviewers, I started with a group of 25 and worked my way up to 150 at a time with only a couple of crashes. However, there were still times in which the only way I could find to stop repeated crashes was to reboot. This appears to have happened only if my Power Saving settings put my display to sleep while a group of files was being normalized. One annoying failure is its inability to overwrite the original file when putting the normalized file back where it came from. Other apps ask what you want to do (keep both, replace); with large groups of files, adding a “1” to the file name to keep both versions just doesn’t cut it as the only possible action. It should also stay at the target db I set, rather than returning to a default of 89. On the positive side and greatly appreciated is full retention of metadata, including album artwork. Macintosh file tags (colors) also pass through, but I think that should actually be a user option. In the Feature Suggestions Department, I would like to be able to sort analyzed files by Current Volume and Track Gain, for a better idea of how much adjustment I want to make. One final gripe: at top right of the field in which I am writing, I see this offer: “If you need support, please visit Audio Normalizer Support”. I did that, or tried to. Landing on the developer’s website, effectmatrix.com, I see an email address to which I can write, but there is no mention of Audio Normalizer to be found anywhere, not even on the Download page. The developer’s other products are well represented with detailed descriptive information, even tutorials, though no pricing info. Clicking on one of the email addresses appears to be intended to being me to a contact form, but that doesn’t exist either. Show more

    Good but….
This app does what I want, but not as easy as MP3 Gain in windows. I’ve only used it on MP3s. It does a good job once you get it to actually do it. As others have written I had problems with it crashing. I discovered by trial and error that if you just process the files you’re OK, but if you analys them first it is more likely to crash. I still gave it 4 stars since once done the result is great. Show more

    Don’t bother!

    Crashes on ANY size folder
I just bought this app, despite concerns raised in other reviews. Whoops. I can’t get it to analyze a single file, in a folder by itself, without crashing. Does me absolutely no good at all, the developer’s website doesn’t even list it as a product! Steer clear! Show more

    Crashes every single time
Diasppointment. I dragged about 20 songs into the box and pushed “Analyze” button. Crashed. I did same thing with 1 file and the result was same. Not a lot of money, but still when you sell a product, you should make sure it works. Small money but a lot of waste of time. Show more

    1 Word TRASH!
Problem 1, it never saves the settings. Problem 2, it never saves the file to the existing folder like MP3Gain. Problem 3, crashes Problem 4, WANT MY MONEY BACK.

    Horrible!!!!
The first song I tried to convert, the app crashed and so long. I feel cheated. Very bad guys!
