    Grrrrrrr
Why every time I try to back and the app crush? :/ no bueno. I spent more than $7 for this app and it doesn't even have all I needed. There's a lot to add in this application so don't ask all this money and you don't produce what you ask for Show more

    My daily guitar?
I have tried a few others some reason I always have come back to this one because its faster, more accurate, more responsive and... I can't play a real guitar but with this app alone I have been able to play quite a few of my fav songs. Simple app with a clean simple user interface and it even works great. Show more

    Awesome App!
I'm truly impressed with the sound on this app. I'll be making some great tracks in no time flat!

    Getting better...
*Update* More frustrated than before, sounds like a banjo when you play fast. Not enough character in the individual string sounds and dynamic cross fades (if there are any). The system for dynamics being tied to solely to the speed that you strum is useless. They have lefty huge space in which to play but given us no dynamic control by playing different places on the strings. What a missed opportunity! You just can't make this thing sound as pretty as I want it to sound. I now feel that I overpaid. (You kinda have to buy the IAP to really get started) The large number of glowing reviews surprises me, maybe I am the odd man out or... *Original Review* (removed specific name of competing app) I am still waiting for the perfect acoustic guitar simulator on the iPad. I know that near perfect sound is achievable because I have THAT with a competing app. Unfortunately the other app lacks modern features and is not customizable like pearl guitar. I must have 10-12 similar apps and most of them sound bad. Pearl guitar is a big step up from the pack in sound quality, but I would still never use it on a recording. If you are saying to yourself "what does this guy expect from an iPad app!?" Then take a listen to (name redacted). It's stunning. But like I mentioned, it is lacking in features, features that pearl guitar has in abundance. Although, I would like to see dynamics handled by where you play on the strings and notes muted when you lift your finger from the chord button, pear guitar otherwise has a near perfect feature set. So, why is it that this app has audio pops (not the guitar noise effects) and a booming unnatural sound? I guess some of it could be a matter of taste concerning the way they have done the EQ of the instrument... They seem to have something they call EQ synthesis which I suspect is what I am hearing that I don't care for. I have suspicions about what they are doing to recreate an acoustic, and I for one think it still needs improvement. So for now, the best I can say is that this app will be the one I reach for when I want to use audiobus or build chord progressions. But to be inspired... It just can't yet beat my old stand by. Guitar App
Amazing app. The sound effect was so dramatically real that I was taken aback especially if connected to an appropriate sound system or listened through IPhone 5 headphones. Congratulations! For introducing to a simple but real feel of the electric guitar. Regards Farrukh Show more

    Joking, right?
Okay, so 16 of the most popular chords... You'd think it'd be all the majors and minors plus a few 7ths or susses. Nope, there's no B major but there's a Csus2 (thank god!). There's no Dm but there's F#m. Basically, folks, it's a VERY limited set of chords and you have to shell out the rest of the money to get chords to play even your most basic songs. And the developer has decided when to mute which strings. Am, for example, mutes the E string which really limits the playability. But they put a bunch of time adding a bongo feature because who can play guitar without bongo, right?! Overpriced and underthought. Show more

    Great..but for right handed players!
Honestly I would like to congratulate you, is a great app! But please I beg could you put a left-handed mode?! It will be greatly appreciated.

    Wow!
As a Martin fan and proud owner of many years, all I can say is Wow! The sound is incredible. I've downloaded and deleted several guitar apps because in spite of good reviews, they just didn't sound realistic and were unwieldy to play. Not so this! The best thing is that now I am able to carry and play a Martin anywhere. Show more

    Magical
First time for everything right!! Well I'm learning to read music at the same time learning to play a different Instrument..and it's fun !!

    Great Sound
The sound is great but the layout of the notes on the fretboard is odd. Kind of like you're viewing through the back of the neck.

    Fun, but...
Sounds a little tinny for a Martin, but it's fun to play around with. Not bad for $2.99.
