This app is fun and easy to use, but it's deep too! The snapshot feature is super useful.

This is a really fun and expressive tool for those who don’t require natural drum sounds in their beats. It allows complete control over sound generation from a subtractive synthesis point of view. The randomized and snapshot features also add a ton of happy accidents to happen, and then be recalled on the fly. I am early enjoying this app! Show more

iOS answer to the DSI Tempest, Vermona DRM1, or NordDrum. Low on resources, flexible. Great for old & new ipads alike.

This is still my go-to application for synthesized drums. I have yet to find a better interface for tweaking and experimenting, along with using as a basic drum sequencer. I use other apps for sampled drums, but this one is the best for making your own! I have been able to replicate a lot of classic drum machine sounds with the tools in this app; it can sound pretty close to analog drums with proper tweaking. Excellent! Show more

This is one of the best drum apps for iOS. I've used it for "typical" drums as well as experimenting. It doesn't get any better if you want tweak in real time and create something unique. A beautiful, perfect little beats. Thank you for existing. Show more

Chases and drives sync via network midi session... pretty awesome little drum sampler.

I really like this for quickly sketching out initial ideas that I can transfer to my modular sequencer setup or Logic.

Super easy to create good sounding drums and percussion. Definitely worth the money even if you have other drum apps. One thing I'd love to see is a randomize button that activates only while pressed with adjustable timing and velocity. Show more

I have every synthesis based drum machine on iOS, and from a synthesis and sound design perspective, this app is the absolute best. Amazing sound Incredible level of controls via really innovative envelope model. Revolutionary on iOS! INDIVIDUAL OUTS!!! Run each voice to a separate channel on AUM and you have amazing control! ElasticDrums is a close second, but it only has 6 voices. Ruismaker is close, but the default, no-defeatable choking/voice stealing is stupid. Neither have individual outs. So if seekbeats is so great, why only 4*? It needs midi mapping control of parameters. If you are going to sequence this with another app, switching apps to modify parameters causing typical iOS audio glitching most of the time. This can be solved if you could control/map controls. Add midi map of controls and this app goes from 4* to 11!!! Show more

this ir the s best drum machine available for iphone and it has some powerful mixing tools too. only missing feature taht would solidify its place above elastic drums(which has this feature) is user uploaded samples. the sampled sounds ont his app can be manipulated to your delight. but these manipupations applied to our own samples would expand fuctionality. and creativty imuch more. This app is so great, it's very sad to find it unusable now. It crashes when I try to load a project.

Before I bought the app I looked up a bunch of promo's and how-to's and figured it'd be worth the $12. It's not. It's a cool app don't get me wrong, but I'd pay maybe 1-2 dollars for it, not 12. Show more

Good sound, fun and easy.

I have to plainly state this... What is truly being expressed when you claim to produce music is that you do more than press play on some pre-made loops, it is implied that you "produce" the tracks from the ground up (not to say that a bit of help from sample sounds is evil, but it should never been the only tool you use, or even your first) THIS app brings something very much needed to the playground of mobile music making apps, it brings a much needed aspect of REAL production to the availability of bedroom producers or people without a few hundred dollars for one DAW space. The randomize feature is intrinsically deep and very well thought out, it only adds as much variation as you decide you want to let run free when altering the parameters of your sounds, wether that be the entire drum kit you have created from scratch or just one solitary sound. This app SHOULD HAVE ALREADY showed the iOS music app makers that its okay to let everyone use the "grown up" toys. Really though,how can anyone be expected to advance their own personal character and unique sound if they are limited by what they can accomplish (in any sort of s reasonable amount of time)? I personally use this app to create a basis for many of my drum sounds (being that i was robbed after a gig and only have the iPad now), or i use it to create multiple layers of sound to add to a hit i already like inside a synth. THERE NEEDS TO BE MORE APPS OF THIS CALIBER WITHIN THE MOBILE MUSIC APP COMMUNITY! and if it seems difficult, than it just shows you that you can still learn a lot, instead of simply playing loops get your hands dirty with this app and create in a genuine way, well, if you really want to be a music producer that is.... ;) Show more
