Instant loading makes it my favorite audio app for iOS. It’s the only one I trust for live performance. I’m referring to the Audio Editor version. This includes all of the functionality of the free (but limited) Recorder. I do not recommend this app for recording with iOS microphones such as the Zoom iQ or the Shure MV88. The mics’ proprietary apps allow direct control of many of the microphones’ features from the software. Understandably, TwistedWave cannot do this—no matter, this is the app you use to edit those files in iOS. Moving files among my Mac, iPads and iPhone is very easy via iTunes and email. ICloud support would be nice but not necessary. I’ve not tried Dropbox with TwistedWave. I wish that I could lock a file to prevent accidental editing—that would be a most welcome feature. Show more

Tried based on a Ripple Training recommendation. Audio doesn't sync with video. Like not even close.

The only recorder and editor you need. Upgrade to the full version, its worth it IMO!

Like the general interface, but the program has crashed on several occasions and caused me to lose significant amounts of work. Big thumbs down!

Looks like a decent program but cannot save or use unless you purchase it after you download it.

I don't like this app because it won't let me play my music app while recording sound and it only lets you record one track! I want my money back :( Show more

Using this app with my microphone and iPad has saved my show! Excellent tool to edit extensively as well. Worth unlocking for its full potential.

I cannot remember the last time that I wrote a review for an app but I have to say that this is worth way more than $10. I simply could not be more impressed with the ease of use, options for recording or importing, or ease of transferring clips to other apps. Thanks for this! Show more

Easy to record, easy to import and export. Dropbox works perfectly with App. Recordings are ok - not the best, but good. App will not playback recordings using BT ?? Phone is paired - can hear my keyclicks as I type this through my stereo, but TW recorder plays only thru the phones speaker. Show more

I paid for the full package, my credit card bill shows this, but only got the editing options and NOT the export options! Not satisfied! :-(

This app is from the future!

I use this app for so many things. Well worth the full version. Rather than constantly syncing my iTunes music with my iPhone, I can import my music from my Google Drive with ease at any time I want. The effects are amazing, and unlike other apps, I can actually edit the sounds rather than selecting canned presets. It has never lagged or glitched, even when editing an hour and a half of dubstep. Its editing functions are so precise, i can edit down to the smallest fractions of a millisecond. I love this and well worth the six dollars I paid. Show more

Built solid, never a glitch. I use this app more than any other music editing software on the iOS platform. It's so feature rich, I rarely have to go outside of it for further audio processing. This minimizes interruptions to my workflow and creativity. OK, maybe it looks a little clunky. It won't try to "wow" you with slick visual design elements. But if you want to harness the power of your Apple mobile device for musical content creation, this app has just about everything you'll need. Show more

This app does not have a lot of features. But this is the best app for recording sound and quickly deleting unwanted parts.

This is the best audio editing software i've found for my purposes, and believe me i've been looking for a looong time.

I'm surprised no one has written a review on the twisted wave apps because for me they are essential for audio recording and music production on my iPhone. These are easy to use apps that do what they say they are supposed to do. I have both versions on my phone so that, using Audiobus, I can have one version playing what I have previously recorded while the other version is recording the new mix. Again with Audiobus, you can also add other apps into the mix. I actually wish there was a third version of these TW apps that I could put on my phone to give me the ease additional layers of recording. I have searched high and low for a similar audio recording app that's Audiobus compatible and it does not exist. It's just a great audio recorder and editor in my opinion. Show more

I paid for the pro version open all locks and now that I have the iPhone 6+ everything is lock down. Please either have my money back or fix this. Is a great app and I use it a lot to record my commercials. Show more
