My students and I love this game! I use it for teaching the direction of music and how it can be shaped in phrases. I also use it as a composing tool. The students like it because they can make their own music and hear it live immediately and they like choosing the accompaniment. Please update to the most current operating system because it will not work on my iPad until you do. Please! Please! Please! I would be willing to pay for this app!! Please help. Thanks. Show more

I love this game for my younger music students, but with the new update on IOS system the game is not compatible. ? can you help?

It's good! But it keeps crashing on my I pad and I have the iPad 2 and or up but it just keeps crashing.but on the other hand it is so fun for kids to make their own music. Show more

As an elementary music teacher I find this app excellent for helping students understand melody concepts!

This app teaches children music theory through a fun game. The child draws a path for a train to travel on a track that goes up and down (it's a music staff, and you can either show the staff above the train track or just the track). After choosing the path the train takes, the tune is played. In this way, the child intuitively can easily understand music composition. It's an excellent way for teaching the beauty of music and music theory, while letting the child compose. When my granddaughter was 4 she enjoyed the game for short over idols, but now at age 5 she really enjoys it. Show more

I'm an elementary music teacher. This app is perfect for teaching students about the contour, or "melody line," of a piece of music. My K-1 students can use it to see that pitch can be raised or lowered, my 4th-5th graders can use the written notes to see exactly how pitch corresponds with notation. And ALL of my students enjoy the creativity, the choice of background styles, and connecting the visual with the audio. Great job, I highly recommend! Show more

i loved this app at first, but it has become laggy and the notes dont match up to the music or where the train is on the track. please fix it! Show more

I read about this app and downloaded it to use with my special Ed students at school. It crashes every time I try to open it on my first generation iPad. Perhaps it doesn't run on iOS 5? Show more

This app should be in every child's app folder and part of every elementary schools music program. Music teachers have craved the ability to have kids explore melody and music composition without the countless hours of teaching music notation and/or music theory. This app is a huge part of that solution. Tons of fun! Developers, please create a save or share feature. Show more
