My church has used this app for several weeks now with little issues. However, this past week, the levels for two separate mixes defaulted back to an unknown default setting and would not allow us to adjust levels until closing the app and reopening. This is a huge issue with live performances as several instruments in the mix suddenly change volume levels. In addition to this recent issue, several phones have not been able to use the landscape setting and therefore they cannot adjust levels at all. This is also a vital issue as the app is basically useless to those individuals. Please update this app and correct these bugs. So now that i want to use my studio live RM32 AI The app on the iPad works. But the one on my phone to control the mix for each musician. Is not connecting to the mixer ,,, cant even see it on the iPhone app ? Need an update for this guys Show more

We depend so much on this application!!! Please at least let us know if you’re working on it. Many people in the band are complaining to me.

Couldn't get it to work no matter what. Presonus has a long way to go as far as integrating their gear with devices. Plus they are constantly changing the hardware without allowing cross generational usability. Why spend $2k on something that will only be relevant for a year? Show more

I read many of the negative reviews.... There’s a difference problems with an app and problems with device being used with the app Did you update your device (iPhone/Android) Is the firmware on your router up to date When you have the latest updates and the latest firmware THIS APP WORKS FLAWLESSLY I work for several church and club venues. In theory, this app is amazing. Having control over each instrument, vocal, or other channel to customize my monitor is a dream. In reality, ever since I upgraded to an iPhone 12 Pro, the screen won’t rotate for me to be able to adjust the levels of each channel, rendering the app mostly useless. My portrait lock isn’t on: other apps work just fine. This seems to be a programming glitch for this app specifically. If someone would fix that, this app would be a wonderful tool. Show more

We have an old studiolive 24ai and the app has always been terrible but I was hoping that the updated version of the app had gotten better since I’m shopping for a new board and was considering the series 3. I’m glad I looked at these reviews before I made my purchase. I’ll look into the Allen and Heath boards instead because I know they have great apps. Presonus, please make your apps better because it’s costing you money. Show more

It’s always been a little buggy but last night it just simply didn’t work. It needs to be completely or near bulletproof to qualify as a live act tool.

Having a problem connecting phone with iOS 13.5 to mixer through software. Possible update needed?

Saw all the terrible reviews. Went ahead with StudioLive 24R purchase for QMix and other features. While most aspects of the 24R work fantastically, QMix is very underwhelming. I can assign mixes, see channel signals etc. all appears well except I can’t move the wheel of me and there is zero audio actually coming out of my phone. Latest updates, firmware, yada yada, no dice. Presonus gear has always been stellar. Not sure why they can’t figure this one out. Signed, hopelessly hearing hardwired : / Show more

Latest update five days ago and now the app WON’T CONNECT! iPad can connect. Android can connect but not iPhone. Not just mine-other iPhones as well. Yes I’m on WiFi. Deleted and reinstalled app. Rebooted phone. Even rebooted board. Nothing. This app used to be just okay. At least it functioned. Now worthless! Show more

Qmix -uc works very well but it is a severe battery drainer. Did a gig last night with it on iphone 10. Started with 95% battery charge and every other app purposely shut down so the phone resource would only be dedicated to using Qmix -uc. By the end if the gig my battery drained to 10% batter charge!!!! Other members in the group had similar results. Please work to address this battery drain issue and this app otherwise will be a valuable asset. Show more

It not connected to aux 1-8. Apps kinda freeze and disconnects. They need to update their apps.

This app is good, but one of the main pitfalls is you can’t see what channels are muted in your assigned aux mix! In our case we use these mixes for in ears and everyone has the app to control their mix, but they have to rely on the sound person to unmute channels in that mix. It would make sense to have the ability to see and mute/unmute channels within your mix right from the app. Show more

I use this app in my studio. Everyone is wearing headphones and we love the ability to adjust our own monitor mixes.

As both a musician and an audio engineer this app is great! Gives musicians the ability to adjust their own monitor mix while freeing up the sound engineer to focus on mixing FOH without having to spend money on personal monitor systems and being limited to 16 channels. Show more

The app used to work great! But ever since a recent update we can’t use it anymore! There is no way for anyone to mix with the app anymore cause all the mixers are gone on the app! Fix it! Show more

Used to be ok....now it drains the battery on my iPod touch rapidly even after closing out.
