At some point, app stopped connecting to speaker. Speaker connects to router, and html interface on speaker can be reached from phone through the router, but the app can’t see the speaker. Multiple resets of phone, speaker and router, reinstalled app, to no avail. Major disappointment. Show more

The app has been stable and finds speaker easily. Only lacking Apple Music as a service.

As humble user of sound touch, I kindly request for un update to your app as it is a really not working properly. Thank you

Sound Touch has always been my source of listening pleasure … since then & until then that my sense of hearing still works.

Dear Bose - why does my app need to update virtually every time i open it BEFORE I can even use it? Is it so hard to make an app that controls volume without the volume slider automatically adjusting up or down for no reason it all? Can you please hire some new digital / technology folks who have the consumer usage of the technology in mind? When you can make such good speakers, why is it so hard to get the app and the supporting technology right? Show more

Love the app and it would completely replace my remote control IF I could adjust the base module level and turn on/off the voice filter (green LED) - the only things I need the app or remote to do. I connect with my Bose SoundTouch300 and Base Module with AppleTv. Show more

Seriously this app is so poor… it’s frequently unable to find my SoundTouch 300 yet I can go on my Amazon music app and play music through it no problem. Is it the case that Bose has simply decided not to bother anymore and just rely on other companies to make apps that enable their products to work? I mean… can you believe that this app isn’t even capable of shuffling a playlist on Amazon Music?? C’mon Bose, this has sucked for years… it’s time to sort it out. Show more

Love the east assessibility to all type music!!!

It just does not work. Can’t change speakers. Locks up. Screen always says “hmm … something did not work”. Really??!! That’s what a software engineer chooses to write as an error message. It’s speaker controller hardware is not much better. Every time we turn on our TV, it requires us to press a button on the Bose remote to get the speakers to engage. Dr Bose should stick to teaching classes at MIT. Show more

The sound quality is great, but the app and tech are garbage. The only thing keeping me from junking these speakers is that they do sound great on the rare occasions I can actually get them to connect without a 30-minute, 12-step process. I’m such a Bose fan, so this whole set up is very disappointing. Show more

Ever since iOS came out the app has been barely functional! Its been over a year please update!

SoundTouch used to disconnect often which required me to restart

I had enjoyed SoundTouch for years listening to a large library of classical recordings stored on my NAS drive. Some months ago when I was obliged to purchase a new NAS drive (WD MyCloud Ultra) I was unable to access the library of files which I had transferred to the new drive, even with the very best efforts of a number of Bose Tech support agents who patiently tried to make connection between the SoundTouch on my home theater system and the WD NAS drive. I gave up, and made another software program, KODI, make the connection. It worked, but was a miserable second best. Imagine my elation, then, when five days ago, I just pressed SoundTouch on my Bose remote by accident, and I found it was able to access my new NAS drive! I am so grateful to have SoundTouch working again, and am most curious to learn whether Bose or Western Digital is responsible for this happy turn of events. Nicholas Renouf Show more

I appreciate the vast selection of stations but don’t want to spend hours sifting through them to find what I’m looking for. A search feature that works would be welcomed. As is I punched in KGO to test the search, which is the first station of what’s offered, and it came up with nothing. It didn’t seem to search at all. Also, figure out an easier way to add streams and services that don’t appear in the list. Often they don’t provide a direct stream URL, i.e. Live365, Dash, etc. Some sort of A.I. that could figure out the stream playing is not the stuff of science fiction anymore. Show more

SoundTouch Bose are the best speakers I have listened 2. I go back 2 BOSE 901 when they use to travel and do demonstrations on a TrActor Trailer. This includes JBL ,Klipsh Horn, Olufson, using a MCINTOSH Amplifier. Thanks Show more
