Was this really necessary, to block VPN connections?

Every time I open up the app and use it for more than 5 minutes it makes my entire phone slow and lagged, music will even pause at random intervals when trying to follow along to the lyrics which is obnoxious. I even make sure to clear all my other apps first, so I know it’s just the Genius app. Pls fix, it’s almost unbearable to use Show more

The app is great and I love it. The only problem I have with it is, when I first start the app it’s fluent no problems. But once time passes and I’m constantly on it looking at different lyrics the app starts to slow down. Like I’m scrolling down or up and it’s lagging and just slow. I have to close out the app completely, and start it up again for it to go back to normal. But after awhile again it starts to happen. Love this app but rarely use the mobile version bc it glitches and lags really bad after having it open for a while.

App seems to do everything in its power to deny that I’m looking for metal bands. “Norma Jean” shouldn’t give me a chance the rapper song, “The Chariot” should show up when I search it. “The Callous Daoboys” should be the top result for searching them, not an article that mentions them. Show more

I like that I’m allowed to annotate the lyrics to my favorite songs, but since I switched phones and signed back in it shows that I have no saved songs when I in fact, and the feedback/report a bug email thingy doesn’t work. Show more

Lyric cards broken In ios 16 on 13 mini. Doesnt let you scroll down for lyrics.

I love the app but every time I want to read the comments I have to go to the actual website. This is so aggravating because, the app is user friendly but I have to use the website to read more info. Show more

It lags for my iPhone 11 at first it will work properly and smoothly but as you stay on the app longer than 5-10 mins it starts getting slow then freezes up. Show more

Constant freezing

Whoever came up with the idea of sending lyrics on iMessage deserves a raise

I can’t even press a notification I’ve received in the app without being taken to my phones browser. What’s the point of the app if that’s always gonna happen? Furthermore, the website just has way more functionality in general, the app itself is missing basic stuff like profile customization etc. Lastly, when searching for an artist on the app, I couldn’t press on any of the results no matter what I did. Can’t scroll the lyrics in the lyirc card for some reason it get dragged back to top

Seriously, no matter how exactly I type in the name of a song, almost without fail one or more of the top hits is an Eminem song, and that song rarely includes whatever I just searched for — but whatever does show up almost always includes some very NSFW stuff that I’d rather not have to see when I’m looking for songs with my kids - or just myself for that matter. The other top hits hardly ever include a song with the title I just typed in, much less the actual song I wanted - just some random songs that might match a word or two. And I’m not looking for some obscure song no one’s ever heard of. Sheesh - web searches 20 years ago did better than this. Uninstalled. Show more

I like this app for music lyrics and explanations on lyrics but it always crashes on me or doesn’t load. that is what stops me from being able to love it Show more

the app itself is working fine but when i try to send a lyric i cannot scroll down to see the rest of the lyrics of the song please fix it. Show more

freezes all the time and has tons of lag. my phone is not old at all so this should not be happening.

Barely works properly anymore

While it has an almost unmatched catalog lyrics, the iOS version doesn't allow the user to make any input to lyrics or annotations for members.
