Love this app and integrated with my midi keyboard but I want to map the volume knob to an expression pedal. It’s of that pitch knob is mapped to the right place automatically but not volume. It’s neither mapped to midi cc 7 or cc11. It seems the volume isn’t mapped and can’t be mapped to any midi cc. Adding this feature would allow me to use this… Show more

Midi isn’t working, shows up in Audiobus and AUM but doesn’t trigger. The update history says midi support was added. I feel misled. Sounds are beautiful though, shame it appears the only way I can use them is to manually sample them. Can’t even use software to due that without midi working. Show more

For a while was using a knock off version of “mellotron sounds” that is pretty decent in my honest opinion, while on the go. holy crap tho the triple layering between the 3mellotron models past expectation And for the price comparable to an actual mellotron You can’t go wrong ?? Show more

I love everything about app other than I can’t get it to work in AUM, which is HUGELY disappointing. If it was AUV3 compatible, I’d give it 5 stars.

4/5 Fiddling without a pitchbend knob twitching? Something to be added I gather.

I love this app and the sounds it emulates. I mostly use it with midi, but sometimes I use the on screen keys. The one small issue this app has is the slight delay in sound after a key press. My review will become 5 stars once they fix the latency issue. It’s mostly noticeable when you try to play a faster progression. Thanks! Show more

Keep updating!

I wanted to like it but if you try using it as an AU in GarageBand it crashes after about 4 bars. I had to purchase a competing similar app to get my Mellotron sounds. Sad. Thanks for the developer response. It still crashes. Trying it as inter-app audio (not AU). It’s unusable. Changing the review to one star until it’s updated and fixed. Show more

I’ve had this app forever and love it. However, after the last upgrade, it sounds different. Before, it sounded like a true Mellotron, now it doesn’t. Also, the reverb was long overdue, and makes a huge difference. Show more

Very very great! Sound is great and is fun to play with. However, I would like to ask why it sounds either out of tune or a bit late for a quick moment when you press a note. For example, whenever I use the 8 Voice Choir, the voices sound very out of tune before finally getting in place. I hope that could be fixed. But otherwise, I immensely enjoy this app. 10/10! Disappointing because of cost compared to real functionality.

Having a portable Tron is something I couldn’t resist. I’ve been experimenting with it in conjunction with some small synths and the results are interesting and effective. Definitely plan on going further with it. *If I had one thing I wish was in there it would perhaps be a set-up bank. Opening it up to the same three voices can get a little tiresome, especially when I need to re -figure out which combination I was liking in a previous session. Other than that though, simple and intuitive instrument with some unexpected quirks (shifting and double tapping the knobs WHILE playing has made some really cool sounds). Show more

Like a couple other people who’ve left reviews recently I am not getting any sound from the app. I’m running it on an updated iPad that is only two years old. All my other keyboard apps work fine. I tried deleting and reinstalling as suggested, still no sound. Is there a fix coming any time soon? Show more

I would like my money back please. I purchased both the Mellotron and Mellotron XL apps on my iphone 8 and neither makes any sounds.

Very happy November 20-2019 about this app! The bug is now gone and my favourite Mellotron app is back! Props to the team for the great work and bug removal. This is a great Mellotron app, fully endorse it! Show more

Everything seems great!! Thanks for the hard work!!!! Feature request: background audio. Last state saving when closing. Or even presets so when you close you can instantly have your last sound back. ( background audio gives you the ability to turn off the iOS screen and allow the app to still play ) Show more

thank you for the wonderful update! best sounding mellotron library out there! love the new modeling feature as well, can really make it sound like a Mark II! maybe recommend something where we can buy extra voice packs for the app? Show more

They just updated this app and wanted me to update my review. The last time I tried to use the app right before they updated it there was no sound. After the update still no sound. My other keyboard apps seem to work just fine. I’m using an iPhone 6 Plus. Show more

Has not worked for at least several weeks—since either an Apple update or an update for the App. Fix this and give us more sounds, please.
