Firstly before the developer cuts and pastes their lengthy Apple Music blurb I do not have Apple Music. This is my music on uploaded on my phone. Tried everything to get any EQ and the sound is always dreadful every time. Show more

Not happy, it plays songs without the EQ, but won’t play any of my I tune songs at all, Less u can fix it , I will want a refund!

I have been using this great app for 3+ years and really like it. However it suddenly plays only one track at a time. I am not sure if its because of any recent updates. Even if Continuous Playback is enabled it still stops after playing a track. Any thoughts? UPDATE: I found out that the albums/tracks that were transferred using Airdrop were the ones affected. Those transfered using iTunes we playing just fine. Hope a fix will soon be released. Show more

Confusing UI. No way to change the list view. Annoying overall

Considering the price, I did expect some improvement. I tested via HomePod, high-end earphones and Bluetooth streaming noticing minor difference but nothing that can be characterized as improvement. Couldn’t make many features work on iOS 13.2.3. Show more

Nice app. Love it. But crossfading needs additional tweaks to customize. Increase medley from 120seconds.

Please add Apple CarPlay support.

This player will play music from ITunes, however the eq functionality only works on a few songs. Save the 10 bucks.

I have been using this app for a ling time. I should admit that this is one of the best players one can find; however it suffers from a bad design. I wish the developers could look at different apps to find a better way of designing their own. It is simply ugly and not user friendly. The player is mature enough. Please do something with the UI. I just started looking into HiDef Audio and started my collection. One of the key piece is to have a portable way of playing songs and this app is hands down one of the best. However just a few things to improve there: - UX/UI could be better (it’s a bit of a mess - I can tell I am a pro software PM/architect/UX/UI designer working for $$$ corporate apps), even if I am not a big skeuomorphic proponent I would love an interface that mimics classic audio equipments (the way the volume buttons are implemented by ex.), you can get the inspiration form the amazing you tuber channel Techmoan (I love that guy!) - I have my HD files stored on iCloud (or other cloud service through the Files app), please find a way to use those instead of copying everything on the SSD - For those of us who are using external DAC, please indicate what is the type/rate of the connection (I’d like to make sure I am using DSD all through) PS: I can help you with those if you’d like... This app is awesome but you should exclusively work with Apple Music to make it where all settings such as equalizer can be used. Maybe charge a little more for the app at purchase. Apple and iTunes don’t have an adjustable equalizer. Presets are not as good as being able to adjust it yourself. Just whatever you do don’t do a subscription. Most people who use your app won’t want that. Paying a monthly fee to use features in an app makes no sense and not everyone can afford monthly. Something to think about Show more

I purchased some Bang & Olufsen headphones and they do not have the same loudness. I looked for apps that could boost the sound and considered several but they do not appear to be updating their app. I selected this one due to the continuous updates and features and just used it for while traveling and was very pleased. More than I would have liked to spend but performed well, the controls for my headphones worked and the app is updated and maintained. Show more

I have been a long time user of this app. This is no doubt The Best music app. Last year I wrote a review requesting the playlist feature. And I’m so happy to get it with this release version. Kudos to the developers!!! Show more

This is a very nice app which plays all the audio formats I’ve tried except DST compressed audio (which I don’t think any mobile player does because it uses a lot of CPU). It has a lot of EQ options. It would be great if the developer could add SMB support so that I can stream over WIFi. The ability to add EQ as a text file and specify Q values and gain as CSV would be helpful. Show more

Update to developer . . you are assuming that everyone understands what you write. I am not an audio expert, I don’t know what the different audio formats are or mean. Before I got the app and tried it I didn’t know what DRM meant so I didn’t know what it meant to me. You might want to write it in simpler terms like ... Will not work with Apple Music Subscription, or don’t purchase unless you write your own music or rip your CD’s or .... (whatever else can be done. THAT would have gotten my attention so that I understood better. I still don’t know how this app is used. Also in your response you did not explain the value of the application to someone like me. Maybe you could do that. I don’t need another app to play the same music as I play in the Apple Music app with no enhancement. How about a refined? That would fix the app for me :^) —————————————————- I don’t think understand the value of this app. I am looking for a way to adjust the EQ over and above the Music app and thought this would do it. I subscribe to Apple Music and every single song is DRM blocked. This means that it can only be played on the Apple Music player, eliminating this player and associated EQ It may be due to Apple not allowing it but then why does this app exist? If you are an Apple Music Subscriber don’t bother with this. I think it may be a dead product. I guess I should have had a clue when the app keeps referring the “iPod” list. There is a big issue with display on Xs Max. Impossible to switch from landscape to portrait. Search function becomes impossible on portrait mode because buttons are in the most upper edge of the screen and disappear inside the bezel. Anyway to ❤️ a song so we can retrieve it in a ❤️ playlist ? How about some radio stations like Linn jazz. Thanks for a fabulous app. Max Show more
