    Remember Amiga? Remember the demoscene? If you can answer yes to both of these, you'll love Vividtracker. This is the real deal, a Protracker 2 clone with VERY little added to its core functionality. There are, of course, interoperability additions, like audiopaste, Audiobus, etc—but the core of the tracker itself has only been expanded by activation of the 08 effect as an auto-chord.     Use it to play mods
    I never quite learned how to use a tracker I had a few of them anyway. If this guy wants to emulate more of them I'm up for buying them too. How about Octamed for starters? Show more

    Happier-
    -than I've been about an app going live (especially a new iOS DAW) than Ive been in a very long time - yes it's not "new" in a way, but it is a ton of freaking composition and sound design power, and it's not $50, or even $20, it's $3 bucks. Calvin Harris used to make mods, for goodness sake. Show more
