This was a waste of a dollar. I was unable to open it. I was not able to even try it. Very frustrating.

I'll start by saying I never write reviews... but today was the exception. This was a total fail. 15 seconds of piano and it couldn't even come close or get a single note right. Feeling burned for paying for this. Show more

This app is actually a great idea, and does do what it's supposed to sometimes. Crashes OFTEN, deleting your work and making you restart. Not great.

I like the concept, and when it works, it works fine (works great for the price). However, it crashes constantly, and has become aggravating. This will be a great app once the crashing issue is resolved. Show more

I read a review of this app that was kinda harsh. This app pick up single notes from your guitar and turns them into notation. How cool is that. There are some bugs, but with updates I only see this app getting better. Definitely worth it. Show more

Horrible app. Couldn't take down the simplest of notes, from an in-tune piano. It literally didn't get a single note right. I even tried hitting 10 middle C's in a row slowly and evenly it recorded a hodgepodge of different notes of different lengths. I was in a perfectly quiet room. It gave me every error message possible (like too short, to loud, too quiet,too much noise in the room). Wish there was a way to at least input your own notes onto the staff. Sure wish I hadn't wasted the $. Don't bother with this. Show more

It's only going to work as well as the input it gets. I am able to make nearly perfect scores using concertina at medium speed.

I tried the app by singing a few melodies. Some turned out pretty good, others not at all. It is very inconsistent, which is strange. Unfortunately you can't quantize your performance. The app's editing tools are very confusing. They are of no use to me. I also have the Mac version of the app which is a little better. I would not recommend this app if you just want to use it to not forget your musical ideas. For that you are better off using a recorder app. Show more

Terrible app does not recognize any notes. Played piano and it did not get a single note correct.

Paid my 99 cents. Can't log in. Can't sign up. Says my email address is already in use. Won't accept any of my normal passwords. Won't let me log in through Facebook either. Says there's an error, to contact you with the error message (null). There is no way to contact you except by this review. Hope you read it. Disappointed. Can't really rate the program so I give it one star so you'll notice and contact me, except there's no way to contact me. Maybe I'll check back to these reviews. Maybe not. Show more

I played a song to get the notes. Compared it with the original notes and it wasn't even close.

I purchased this app several months ago, and had to delete it to make space. In the process, I forgot my password. Now I'm ready to use it again, the system will not allow me to reset my password. I contacted the devs who initially said they could not find me in their database. They later said I was in the database, but they were experiencing some problems on their end, and would contact me when they figured out what the problem was. I'm still waiting. In the meantime, I'm not able to use the app. Show more

This app is a God-send. I am one of those people who dabbles in music as a hobby with little time (and patience) for learning theory BEFORE I get to making something. This app allows me to quickly get notation for the melodies or bass lines that pop into my head. It's very accurate but it is limited by your singing/humming ability :-) In any event, this rounds out what I need. ScoreCloud to get melodies, PolyChord to figure out nice chord progressions, and AudioBus to tie all my audio goodness on my iPad together! Kudos to the designers and creator this WONDERFUL idea! 1000 stars!!!!! Show more

I read the negative review, and felt compelled to weigh in on this app. It works absolutely fine. There are limitations and they are addressed in the instructions provided with suggestions to optimize accuracy. It is not intended for chords, but it is very accurate for capturing guitar solos. Played several different songs on my guitar that were totally dumbed down to try the app. Not one of the songs played back from the iPad the song I had played. I even tried playing one note playing of "Mary Had a Little Lamb" and an unknown melody played back. App should be removed. Show more
