I agree with the person who says the tracks aren't in sync (I'm on iPad Air first gen with up-to-date IOS). I've tried quite a few test runs with some very simple 4-part a Capella pieces that I have previously recorded, and in the final playback the tracks are off. I use n-track on my computer for more sophisticated arrangements, but thought this would be handy to have on my iPad when I'm just playing around with ideas. It was only $2, so I didn't have high hopes but thought I'd give it a try. I'm going to try something more expensive in the hopes that, in this case, price equals quality. Show more

I recorded music on track 1 and voice on track 2. How can I play both tracks together at the same time? And how can the levels be adjusted independently? Is there any online manual. If this doesn't work as advertised I'd like a refund. Show more

This app is very easy to use and makes capturing ideas very neat and easy

I've been using either my iPhone video or voice recorder to capture riff or song ideas with my mandolin or acoustic guitar. Problem with those apps is that they are one dimensional. Now, with this app I am able to throw down a quick idea, another on top of it, see how melody line might sound, work out a solo and test different changed in a heartbeat. Less of a pain to use than one of my expensive Boss multi-track recorder and just faster but mainly more convenient. Editing is not available and I quickly found myself wanting to use most of a track but couldn't because I could not cut a part out and same the rest but that is a fairly advanced need and best done on a higher end PC based studio really. Only real complaint is the inability to save or export as a simple, standard file type like an MP3 - that would make it even better. Overall, love it and will use it almost everyday! Show more

Bought this app to do voiceover on a song track. Unfortunately, my voiceover track, which was recorded with correct timing, does not stay in sync with the music track. I haven't tried more than two tracks or doing anything other than my intended use, because that's all I wanted it for. Thus the app is rendered useless for my purposes. Show more

Nice tool to record ideas.

I have really enjoyed this app. I have a love of music; especially creating songs. I enjoy singing and harmonizing with the tracks that I create. It is a very easy app to learn. And it has brought me a lot of enjoyment. I have recommended this app to other musicians. I believe there is no limit to what you can do while creating a song with MTS are pro. Awesome. Simple, easy to use, powerful.

Everything was fine with this app until I updated to the newest version, now the apps won't stay in sync for some reason

I tried to save a song I recorded using all four tracks and ended up having to delete three other songs I recorded and a few apps to make more than enough space but the app kept telling me there wasn't enough space (when my usage showed that there was more than enough) and it wouldn't let me export the track because of that. the whole recording was erased and so was this app. Show more

Our cell phones won't be using Pro Tools, Cubase, Sonar or Reaper in full versions anytime soon - forget rating according to all the dreams we project onto a simple app. This is handy, simple, fast, and all I need to remember the bits and pieces of inspiration that leap to mind unannounced. I am also surprised at how well it reduces the sound of the existing track(s) as it records the next. Fun and functional - what else can be asked of a little app? Show more

This is a very effective app for voice recordings. I haven't used it for mixing yet.

Great for simplicity. My only complaints are that you cannot pan the tracks (which makes recording multiplied guitar parts sound a bit jumbled), and that every recorded take has to be from the very beginning. With those it would be a 5 star app. Show more
