Please update your description if you aren’t going to support windows any longer
I downloaded this app on my phone hoping to use it as an audio output for my windows laptop. Then went to your wait to get it up on my pc only to find this is not an option, contrary to the info you have on the iOS App Store. Show more

Great app. But it could be even better
The latest update was genius. Solved my discovery issues. Now if some how the developer could setup shortcut access to enable automation of speakers group selection. It would be amazing!! This app in combination with the Mac app. solves those pesky airplay 2 sync issues. Out of the box synced airplay multi room audio is a lie Show more

    Nice update!
Thanks for the update! It’s much easier to change the volumes with the large sliders. We use this app daily to control streaming to airplay devices all around our home.

    Not amazing. Not despicable.
I didn't pay for this so there's that. But I did pay for the app on my Mac. You'd think after almost 10 years of development (yes this app has been around since 2010) some improvements to audio delivery through the iOS app would have improved. It kind of hasn't and that's disappointing. Show more

    Fatally flawed
Five stars for music, zero stars for video, averages to one star. Would easily give five stars, except for one fatal flaw: it has a built in two second time delay between the source and the satellite, which makes it useless for using headphones connected to an iPhone while watching video. If they would fix that, it would definitely be worth the otherwise exorbitant price. Contacting support is useless. They reply quickly, but that's not useful when their response is, "We know and we have no intention of ever fixing it." Good news: further searching found another app, AudioIn, which does work with < 200 msec latency, vs airfoil's 2000msec, and costs 1/10 of what airfoil does. Hopefully this can save others hours of searching the and fruitless support contacts. Show more

    Horrible app
Couldn’t get it to work after spending an hour trying. Crashed like 10 times during that span. Glitched out my sound on my pc too. Simply an awful app

    Home Pod
Many have been using Airfoil in conjunction with one or more Apple Home Pods, you no longer need to do that. Go to your home app and select both Home Pod's and you are in stereo now. Simple stuff no. Great job Apple. Show more

    Excellence in a void!
Probably my favorite app! It fills a void that is hard to believe even exists: Streaming synchronized music from ANY source to almost ANY WiFi or Bluetooth connected source. Along with the also superb Airfoil MacOS application, this can turn any combination of sources and speakers into a sophisticated wholistic system. I’ve tried Sonos, Bose and a bunch of other “whole house” audio solutions. There are always a downsides. Cost is always one. With Satelite and Airfoil I can use my favorite Mackie and Yamaha speakers with all the devices I’ve acquired over the years: Airport express, Bluetooth speakers, Chromecast. Etc. Such a great app and great value. Thanks again Rouge Amoeba!!! Show more

Perfect for a house full of older iOS devices
I had purchased the full program several years ago but never got it fully implemented. I have rediscovered how awesome it really is. I have kitchen iPad/Alexa, bedroom iPod, main living room, patio, garage all being served by Airfoil. Pretty excited for this. FYI, the Alexa is connected via Bluetooth to my Mac Mini, which is serving as the master receiver/server, works great! My only complaint would be about the amount of delay between pressing play/stop/next on the source device and hearing it throughout the Airfoil network. It may be due to the very old Mac Mini(2008) serving everything. The delay may cause someone to hit the button again thinking they didn’t press it correctly. Show more

    Awesome app.
This app lets you play music throughout your entire home through various systems. And with the exception of one old Bluetooth speaker, everything is in sync. The satellite app is awesome. I stream xm radio to my several airport devices and can control the volume where ever I am. I’ve also used it to stream iTunes music too. Show more

    Just works
It just works. Zero hassle: turn it on, wait about one second to see your airfoil, and Bob's your uncle. I've had the same experience with everything from Rogue Amoeba. It all just works. Now, if only we could get airfoil for iOS. You listening, Rogue Amoeba? ? Show more

    Perfect
Another fantastic Rogue Amoeba app that solves the practical problem of distributing shared audio around your home network in an elegant way. Brilliant!

    Just what I needed
I wanted a solution to stream audio from my Mac to my iPhone and this was the perfect solution. I use Bluetooth headphones that has the old firmware, so I have difficulties answering calls via handoff on the Mac. Show more
