    Little League Hype
Bought this app for our Rookie ball team - these kids LOVE hearing their names announced with their favorite walk ups songs! This app is so easy to use - and we love that our favorite announcer voices our boys’ team (Michael Araujo does the best flair in his announcing!). You can play around with their walk up songs and timing too. Seriously - so easy and so fun! This app makes our favorite sport even more fun! Show more

    Great app!
We just recently purchased this app for our sons gal baseball team, and we couldn’t be happier! We love having the professional announcers for the names, our announcer we purchased was Michael Araujo and we couldn’t more satisfied! Show more

    Great app, however…
I really love this app. However, I have some issues that I believe could be fixed to make this app 5 plus stars. 1) something that would really be awesome would be the ability to “fade in” a song with the announcement. Some players want their song to start at a specific time. The ability to “fade in” a song would make the song with announcement sound so much smoother and more professional. 2) I cannot find the ability to do a “text to speech” announcement like other walk up apps. I only see the ability to record our own voice or purchase professional voices. Having the option to do text to speech announcements would be great. 3) when editing the song with the announcement there is a slider bar at the bottom that enables the song/speech to be even volumed or one louder than the other. I am finding that in my opinion, the option to have the voice announcement louder then the song, and then, once the voice announcement is over, the song volume should automatically increase would be awesome. I have been choosing the “even” option. It is usually adequate for most walk up intros. However, sometimes when even is selected you can barely hear the voice over the music. Then I will move the slider to try a louder voice. But then the music volume is to low after the announcement is done. That is why having the ability to have the music automatically increase after the announcement is over would be super beneficial. I really like this app and feel that having an update to address these 3 issues would put this app over the top. Thank you for considering my suggestions… Show more

    Doesn’t work
The app literally doesn’t work I installed it and reinstalled it 5x and everytime I try to put in an email it loads for so long that the request times out, I literally can’t get past the opening screen where it’s asking for an email. Show more

Awesome app and incredible support from developer!
This app is great! We use Apple Music which makes changing songs (a VERY common request from our 10 year old team and their parents!!) super easy. When I discovered I had mispronounced one of the last names, Chad at ballpark DJ was super responsive and helpful. We would HIGHLY recommend this app over any and all other walk up apps. 5+ stars!!!! App keeps crashing with the new update
I have been using BallparkDJ for a year now and it was awesome seeing the players walk out to their song. I was impressed that I bought the professional voice/super voice for the whole team. Now with the recent update, the app keeps crashing. Every time I try to adjust the super voice the app exits out. I tried using other devices but it does the same thing. Please fix the update !! Love It
Every once in a great while, an intro will play without the music. Not sure why - maybe once every three games. Other than that - love it. I was going to order pro-voicing, but realized that my own voice ain’t that bad! Is there any way to order the full “super voice” option without ordering from your prob-announcers? Show more

    Very clunky app.

    Sharing
This app would be amazing if they didn’t make it so difficult to share your team to someone else.

    Doesn’t work good at all.
The volume does whatever it wants at anytime…. Sometimes the name of one child then goes with another child’s song ? I paid for an app to also not do the voice intro for the kids you have to pay for each player $$$ nope deleting even though I spent hours on this getting it ready and now I can’t bc it’s doing its own thing. I want a refund asap and will request after I write this review which I never write. Show more

    So easy to use
I was asked to play ballpark DJ by the coach right before the game started and was able to easily navigate and use the app with no hiccups. Thanks!

    Additional fees not noted
There are additional fees after the $6.99 to use services advertised. These fees are not listed in the in-purchase drop down of the Apple App page when shopping. When I see $6.99 for “Unlimited Use”, then I don’t expect to be asked for other fees after the fact. Show more

The app crashes all the time
I purchased the app and the professional voices, it worked for a couple of games. Now it skips the introduction, I have to refresh all the time and also limit the music download with Apple Music. Show more

    Fantastic App & Support
Chad and his team of announcers are amazing at what they do. I’ve had Casey voice two of my teams and he’s knocked them both out in less than an hour. I had some questions about the app and Chad was very quick to respond to my emails. We will continue to use the BallparkDJ app for years to come! Thanks again, guys! Show more

Fun app, works well, easy user interface
All in all a nice app. Record your own player announcements, or buy professional voice overs for $3.00 per player. Mix in a walk up song, and hit stop to fade out early. Optional ending sound effects are a little lame. Please allow at least one user added sound effect to end the song clip with. Also being able to adjust fade out length and start time of optional ending sound (relative to start time of fade out) would be a nice addition. Show more

Exactly what I was looking for!
I discovered this at a travel tournament.. It is the best and user friendly once you work with it for a few. Love this app and so do the kids!

Miracles do happen with the BallparkDJ app
Can I just start by saying WOW!!! It’s Friday around 10am and I’m drinking my mega pint of coffee. I get about 3 quarters of the way finished and I think “Man, it’s the Rascals last baseball game tomorrow and some walkout music would be awesome.” I pull out my computer and start googling how to make walkout music. I then realize it’s 2022 and there’s probably an app for that. So I get on my phone and search my apps. The first app I see is the BallPark Dj app. Eek it’s 5.99. I’m a Xennial, it’s that micro-generation after Gen-Z and before Millennial. Xennials grew up in an analog world but have been living a digital adulthood. This means to me that I know what apps are, how to use them but I absolutely refuse to pay for them. After I moved passed my monetary conundrum I caved and bought the app. The setup was easy I entered in the team names. I noticed there was an option to order professional voicing and I about fell out of my chair with excitement, probably had something to do with the mega pint I just finished. I watched the tutorial on how to complete the task and it was fairly simply. I proceeded to voice the names of the kids and add their requested music. I sent the request for professional voicing around 12pm and it was fairly priced at 2.99 each player for the standard intros voiced by my choice Ryan Cameron. At checkout I read the disclosure warning me that orders may take up to 24hours. Shoot the kids game is at 8am tomorrow. I sent the request in anyway believing that miracles do happen. I checked my emails obsessively all day and night. I woke up early in the morning to see that my order had not yet been fulfilled. I knew this was a possibility so while I was disappointed I just chalked it up to my last minute crazy idea. I got to the game and 30 minutes before the game I got an alert that my order had been fulfilled. When I say I was excited it’s an extreme understatement. My son went as far as to say “it’s not necessary to use curse words mommy”, he’s still an innocent little chap. The Rascals had a blast at their last game! They loved their professional introductions and walkout songs. The Rascals even made sure to take their time getting to the plate so that they could listen to almost all of their songs. I know this is a pretty lengthy review but I wanted to make sure Ryan Cameron and everyone at the BallPark Dj app know that they made the Rascals last game a memory that they will never forget. Thank you from one happy baseball mama!!! Show more
