Deleted my YouTube channel and they had to delete all my music no option made it seem like it was just the channel. Couldn’t be more disappointed

Pros: comes free with YouTube Premium Cons: many -no offline play on Apple Watch -Shuffle button extremely bugged (if you play in shuffle and then hit reshuffle, the playlist breaks and you have to manually skip to next song) -won’t let you play movie soundtracks because content for children can’t be played in MiniPlayer? -if you sync YouTube music to a new device, it’ll pull random versions of a song. For me it usually pulls the music video version which has dialogue. Extreme vibe killer. -even after songs are downloaded for offline play, certain playlists have the “downloading” icon. This icon never goes away. Once you are in airplane mode, certain songs are unplayable because they weren’t downloaded, But they never actually finish downloading. Show more

Having a lot of problems lately while giving voice commands to my Google nest display to play one of my playlists.

I have had YouTube music now for at least 5 years and I work in places with no signal sometimes I like the playlist they put together for me and the ability to download and play things when in no man’s land is great thanks a lot for a music app that actually does what it says it does Show more

Love this app! The only issue is that if you want to be able to turn off your phone and still listen, also get rid of adds, you need to get premium. It’s a costly $15.99 a month, which is more expensive than most other music apps. Besides the costly price, it’s great! Show more

I like the platform because of its access to Youtube videos within more easily than other platforms, therefore I have usually had 0 trouble finding anything I want to listen to. That being said, it is practically useless if you aren't subscribed to premium because you can’t even turn off your device and listen at the same time. Also, once it knows your music type, i find that every radio I start to branch out is trained with the same few genres or artists. Those are my only two complaints, and they don’t matter much for me. So, for my taste specifically, 5/5. 4/5 because of its two issues for others. Show more

It’s not working properly , literally skips on its own

While it has some cool tracks and things, Youtube Music lacks some of the most basic, rudimentary features of a music app with absolutely no reason or excuse as to why they don't include these extremely simple features that have been around for years and years and are used by almost all other music apps. Here are some issues you'll most likely encounter with youtube music: no playlist quick scroll whatsoever, meaning you have to manually scroll to bottom of playlist songs, artists, and downloads don't organize properly in library, so you can't sort alphabetically or by artist you can't stop songs from shuffling if shuffle is turned on and then off. must reload the app to reset it can't skip to next song by swiping the album cover can swipe down to minimize song, but can't swipe up on the minimized banner to maximize it again doesn't display album at all on car screen when connected to bluetooth YTM doesn't remember your choice between video or audio only shuffling a playlist will always pick from the first 10-15 songs in that playlist to start out I highly, highly recommend using another app for your main music app, and use YTM for songs you can't get elsewhere. The selection of YouTube Music is phenomenal and the intuitive algorithm that suggest new songs you haven’t thumbed up is second to none. I’ve used every streaming service since inception from OG Pandora to Spotify, Amazon, Apple Music, et cetera. I listen to rarer and eclectic selection of music and YouTube has seemingly had everything I’ve looked for and more. I’m sure the community based uploads are what helps round the selection out. Either way, for overall experience and usability, you literally cannot beat YouTube, so well worth the price so long as Google stops raising the price. STIP RAISING THE PRICE! Show more

I have used other services for music, and they are ok. YouTube Music has every song you can think of. A fantastic feature that I love the most is that you can play a song, and it will play different artists within the same genre, which allows you to find new songs and artists. Another feature is how easily you can connect to your Tv from your phone, and when someone calls, there are no interruptions from the call. And it’s so easy to create a playlist. YouTube is the best app and service to use for music. It’s terrific. Show more

Much better than Spotify and worth the price of premium

After the new Apple update, this app seems to pause the music every few songs. why?? besides that I absolutely love that I can find any song, I am looking for n suggests good movie too. Show more

I don’t understand why there’s a lot of complain. But at the same time I understand that everyone is different. With that being said, thank GOD for the update! I can finally listen to music in the background. I love discovering new music and playing the radio station from a special song allows me to do so! Show more

Stays on repeat with out pressing anything

No ads!!! I can turn off the screen and still listen to music. Conserving battery energy. Bigger catalog than Apple Music. Love it!!!
