Have been wrestling with an audio app that keeps moving my balance slider to the left; after numerous reboots, the slider will be completely on the left. Found this app, and it moves the slider back to center (well, sliightly-off as my hearing is slightly off!) Saves me the otherwise-endless need to keep rebalancing the pan slider). Brilliant! and the app will recenter the balance. Great app, and thankfully the touchbar changing the balance is properly hacked into submission. I just spent 2 hours on the phone with Apple as they tried to convince me this is a third party bluetooth issue. Good grief. It is a simple MacOS bug that they will not address. THANK YOU Tunabelly! It's ridiculous that this app even has to exist, but it fixes a very annoying bug in MacOS

Does what it's supposed to do, doesn't need any tinkering, just works, which is hard to find these days.

Does its job as expected. It was very annoying for my audio to be out of balance randomly. This download has effectively removed the issue from my audio experience.

I have a bluetooth transmitter/receiver that I use to connect to Klipsch 2.1 Pro speakers and experienced the drift issue everyone here experienced. This app quickly and easily fixed the drifting problem. It's bizarre Apple has not fixed this issue. I would also gladly pay $.99 for this app. Glad its free. Show more

How can Apple have bungled this OS so badly?! I was resetting the Left / Right balance every single time I used my headphones. These guys saved years of my life.

How has Apple not fixed this bug after so many years?

The detail is all in the name. The app works like a charm. CPU load at most is less than 0.4% of my total CPU usage, which translates to minimal effect on battery life. Show more

Works as intended

Simple app to fix a simple problem. Apple is dumb for not fixing this, 10 or so years later. Edit: This application just restored the balance THREE TIMES in the past 60 seconds. Makes me all the more thankful for this app. Also, you should put a donate button in your application somewhere. And update your copyright year under the about section :) Show more

For some strange reason many times when plugging in my AirPods Pro the balance is all the way to one side (took a while to figure that out - they weren't broken). Wit this installed, that's no longer an issue because it fixes it automagically. Show more

After I bought a pair of AirPods Max I started encoutering audio blance issues with my MacBook Pro (M1, 13-inch). I thought I'd have to return the headphones. Turns out it's a long-running problem with macOS and this simple app sorted it out. It's a funcitonal workaround to a problem that shouldn't exist. Hopefully one day I won't need this anymore, until then I'm thankful it exists. Show more

This app does exactly what it promises- no more, no less, no ads. Apple needs to fix the bug that this addresses, but until then, Balance Lock is a must have for any external audio user. Show more
