Great App, but I have a suggestion
Love the app so far, but I think it would be helpful if when a wrong answer is made allow the person to hear the wrong answer and correct answer so they can help learn the difference. Show more

    Getting Great Results!
This ear training app really helps my inner ear learn intervals! I’m also learning solfa by using “do , re, mi’s” in the exercises. Fun! Rhythm is a bit trickier for me, but I trust that I will keep be making progress there too. I Love Earpeggio ❣️ Show more

Very cool app for musicians or anyone wanting to improve
Can’t believe this app is free for the basic levels at least, it is a lot of quality! No ads either

    Ear training the intervals
This helps me to practice piano even when I’m not in front of one!

A lot of incorrect intervals in harmonized mode
This is hurting a lot of new learners. Especially the perfect 4th and perfect 5th intervals, a lot of them are incorrect. Play the same notes they show on a real keyboard and it is way off. Show more

    Excellent Ear Training
The best ear training app out there. Seriously. A few minutes a day, several times a day will train your brain into recognizing intervals, chords, scales, and melodies. It is as learning your ABCs and numbers but for music in a very effective way. Kudos to the developers. Show more

I finally have my intervals down
It's taken forever, but with this app I've finally had a method to teach myself intervals that can fit around my busy schedule. I know I sound like a personified ad but its just the truth. Easy to use, has everything you need. 10/10 Show more

    Great app, couple of requests
First off, thank you so much Balázs for this App, it has helped me enormously towards playing the music I hear in my head on my instrument (guitar) The app has a number of different modules, such as interval identification, chord identification, melodic dictation, etc., and for each module, there are two ways to use it: practice and goals. Practice is where you can make a custom practice session. For e.g. interval identification you can select which intervals are played, whether they are ascending, descending, or both, whether there is a fixed root note, etc. Goals is where there is a sequence of increasingly difficult practice configurations where if you get 9 out if 10 in a row you move on to the next configuration. The goals is a nice idea but in my experience it is not so great due to the one size fits all nature. I found myself often moving on to the next stage sometimes simply because there where 10 questions in a row where the thing I was having trouble with was only asked once. And I also spent a lot of time just trudging through sections that were very easy for me. I think it is possible to do it in a way that works if it responds dynamically to what you get mixed up, etc (this would be a massive effort) but as is I did not find it compelling. THAT SAID, The custom practice sessions are AMAZING. Great UI, very intuitive, very addictive (which is a good thing for learning), and really thoughtful levels of customization given to the user. A couple things that I think could make practice sessions even better (obviously this is just my two cents): - be able to save a practice configuration to the Goals screen, to access later. At any given moment I have a couple things I am working on, and it would be nice to have easy access. For example, right now I would have one configuration for differentiating perfect 4ths and 5ths played at the same time (harmonic), one for major and minor 6ths and 7ths (also harmonic) and one for all intervals (both ascending and descending). This would make it easier for me to keep the momentum up on different fronts and target my weaknesses more effectively. - be able to see progress for each individual practice configuration. Right now there is a feature to see the history of your accuracy rate at the module level (e.g. for all interval identification sessions), but if you have different practice configurations, it is a bit of an apples to oranges comparison. If you were able to save practice configurations, it would be nice to see the history of your accuracy for each individual configuration to get a better sense of your progress. Anyways those are my thoughts, highly recommend the app. Show more
