I get what this app *wants* to be doing, but... it doesn’t do it very well! Tried it on a few songs my band wrote and recorded (which are copyrighted and registered with ASCAP, BTW: devs — I certainly hope you’re not dodging royalties, if applicable). The app’s transcription was correct *maybe* half the time. It picked out some of the chords, but the timing was wrong. And the voicings for the chords were *completely* wrong and misleading — most guitarists don’t play six-string open chords very often. So, clearly not for use by professional musicians. And if you’re a professional musician... you can do all of this in your head anyway. If you’re just learning? All snarkiness aside, you’d do *much* better watching YouTube tutorials. Just about every song you can name has a tutorial these days. And watching someone play a song the *correct* way will help you learn much faster than this app. In other words, if you follow what this app tells you, you’ll go down the wrong path and then need to unlearn. And that’s no fun. Computers aren’t quite “smart” enough for this yet. Stick with the experts. ? Show more

This app is expensive, I bought it several years ago and it was great, then the OS changed and the old app was no longer supported so I updated it. They say you can restore your past purchase, I was not able too. Show more

Spoiler: bitter old man ahead. I bought the desktop version years ago and was looking forward to trying out the mobile version. But now, an existing customer, had to pay an additional subscription? How crass and dismissive. Before I get accused of not understanding how things work today, I'll go out in a limb and state I do understand what customer loyalty is and appreciating those who ponied up at the begining. I enjoy using this program in preparing for our Sunday Church services...the app allows for simple use making it easier to focus more on the music itself!

Thanks for adding piano chords because it helps me so much with learning Piano not just guitar. Loving it
