Really unstable. This morning it’s stopped 5 times and required force quitting twice. It’s been stationary and near wifi the whole time.

Use this all the time on the road

Through every version of this app, the BPR radio player is consistently unreliable. Every morning it will drop out and stop playing within a few minutes of the start. It is difficult to start with and stop requiring several tries. It keeps playing after the app has been swiped closed. And if you do want to play Podcasts, be careful not to pause because it forgets where you are and starts the podcast all over again when you go to restart. Show more

App frequently needs to reload and catch up (this may be due to the nature of live broadcast and our broadcast/internet challenges in the mountains.) Overall, the layout and content are excellent. Thank you BPR for expanded local content! Show more

Great station, great app!

I donate to BPR and appreciate it but have more trouble w this app than any other ever, which appears to be due to the way it kills itself a nanosecond after not finding wi-fi, even when my wifi is operating perfectly. Show more

Slow to open, very unstable. Freezes & frequently needs to be re-started.

Love the content, but the streaming audio often, mid-stream, goes back a plays audio from a few seconds before.

I listen to BPR on the road all the time. Haven’t changed the dial since I found it a year ago. When I’m in the office I listen through the app on my phone and love it. Excellent, objective journalism. Multiple views and original sources are voiced. In a time where there is so much bias it’s refreshing to hear good journalism from a community funded radio station. We live in WNC but travel quite a bit. Even so, BPR is the only station we listen to because of this app. Even at home we stream the station(s) through the app so we always remain connected with news we can trust and our friends at BPR. Thank you! Show more

We depend on BPR to let us know the freshest events all the time. If we feel fully informed, we switch to BPR Classic for great orchestral performances.

If you listen to NPR, Blue Ridge Public radio is the best for staying up to date with unbiased coverage.

So glad to have local npr news on my phone again. (Recently moved here from another state) The only problem that I have is the little message that plays every time the app connects. Really gets annoying when you are experiencing connection issues with WiFi or network which often happens living in WNC. Show more
